Sorry for the delay in answering. We went for 3 nights and it was ideal. Pisa is quite small so you would still have time to go to Florence for a day or Lucca as we did. The airport is right on the edge of the city. Can't remember the exact price but 10 - 20 Euros rings a bell. We just followed the signs inside the airport. The hotel gave us a lift back to the airport or they will ring you a taxi. Top tip - go early to the Tower before the coach parties arrived. No queues and not too busy.
