Lovely place to stay. Accommodation great, hosts could not have been more friendly / helpful do not be put off by approach from motorway into Piombino where you see a lot of industry. From San Rocco you see none of it. Not easy to find, aim for Fire Station and small track opposite

Grazie di cuore - Renata & Eric

We visited Villa San Rocco on our way to the island of Elba in September, 2013. What a lovely experience we had with Eric and Renata. They are a charming and helpful couple with a beautiful home to share with visitors. I had a moderate medical issue; they helped immensely to improve the situation as quickly as possible - I...

Villa San Rocco is a great, charming B&B on the hills above Piombino. While the beautiful location and great sights towards Elba were our first impression, we soon discovered that the biggest advantage of this accommodation is the kindness and support of Renata and Eric, the hosts. We got great tips for the best restaurants, beaches, historic towns and vineyards...

We just loved having you come stay with us as you made it so easy for us to look after you. We do not get many German visitors as I am sure they are misguided and think Elba Island is the only place to visit in Tuscany when we have more to offer on the mainland. We just hope when...

Stayed here for two nights. Eric and Renata were the perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble, not in your face but there if you need them. Excellent advice about local restaurants and places to visit. Room was great, not huge but clean and everything you need including a magnifying mirror for those of us getting older! Breakfast with home cooked...

Villa San Rocco is the most beautiful and memorable place my husband and I have ever stayed. Eric and Renata are so sweet and thoughtful, and Eric picked us up when we were lost on the way into Piombino after taking a bus into the town. He also helped orient us to the town with a custom drawn map. The...

Thank you for your kind coimments and we do hope you can return to Italy soon as we would love for you to come stay with us again as it was a pleasure having you stay with us. We were thinking of you in Pistoia hoping you did not get acquainted with any policemen up there !!!

Villa San Rocco is responsible for making our time in Italy an absolutely memorable one. The owners, Eric and Renata, are amazing and took such good care of us even though we (due to various map/road sign reading issues) arrived really late in the evening. The villa itself is beautiful, with rooms that make you feel like you're staying in...

We were looking for somewhere south of Cinque Terra to spend 2 nigths and read on Trip Advisor that Piombino was a 'hidden gem'. Driving into the town we were very skeptical as all we could see was large industries. Fortunately though the other side of town is absolutely beautiful was the most breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and Elba...

Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen! We spent three nights of our Toscana-tour with Renata and...

“Just email Eric and Renata prior to booking your room if you have x number of people; that way you can all figure out the best room arrangements. All sides of the villa are great, as far as I could see, because the area is a quieter one.”
