My friends and I arrived at Frattoria Poggio Alloro during "off" hours, meaning in between lunch and dinner. Sarah and crew were so kind as to still serve us! Not only did they welcome us in but they treated us like family. The food, atmosphere and service were superb!By the time we left we made reservations to return 3 additional...

We visited the beautiful Fattoria Poggio Alloro during The Best of Tuscany Tour yesterday. We had a lovely Tuscan lunch with homemade pasta, local meats and cheese. Our view was just stunning, overlooking San Gimignano. Doesn't get better than that. When we first arrived, we were shown around the farm; the cows in the barn, the olive trees and the...

This Farm to Table restaurant was incredible. From the view to the ambiance of the restaurant. The minute we walked in Sarah and Lorenzo treated us like family. And went above and beyond with their customer service. The food was wonderful, so fresh. Please go hungry and make reservations. It's a experience!

Words can't describe the beautiful setting that is Fattoria Poggio Alloro. But to complement the beauty, this family has created dining (and wining) experiences that do justice to the incredible natural surroundings. We stayed one night (not enough) and enjoyed a lovely, and lively, dinner with about 25 other happy guests, on the outdoor terrace overlooking the valley below and...

We had a group of six that stayed at Fattoria Poggio Alloro for 4 nights. We used the location as base to visit the region. My only regret is that we did not spend more time at Poggio Alloro enjoying the facility, the wonderful food, wine and most importantly the staff. This is truly a special place. Our group of...

I celebrated my birthday here this year with a guided tour of the farm and then a delightful wine tasting accompanied by olive oil, cheese and an amazing balsamic reduction. It was made extra special when I was presented with a slice of marble cake, candle and all, to celebrate my birthday! One to remember for years to come. Thank...

This is a must stop when traveling through Tuscany. My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon, and we stayed here for two nights. We immediately regretted not extending our stay! From the staff to the food, everything was fantastic. I would highly suggest staying at the B&B. The rooms are very clean and quiet, wifi is very fast,...

We were on the Walkabout Best of Tuscany Tour and this was our lunch stop. It totally surpassed my expectations and was a highlight of our time in this area. We started with a tour of the winery, vineyards, cows and grounds then were seated on a lovely al fresco patio overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The food and wine was...

When in San Gimignano this is a must. We were fortunate to be there on Saturday night -- featuring Chianina T-bone steak. The steak was on par or better than those in Argentina, Chile & good 'ol Texas! The wait staff - a key ingredient of any dining experience - was excellent. Adrian took outstanding care of us. All the...

The farm was a stopping point as we were heading for San Gimignanofor on the Best of Tuscany Tour, from Walkabout, Florence. On arrival we were met by a farmhand who took us on a guided tour of the vineyards and winery. After the short tour our party sat together on a patio overlooking the vineyard which seemed to stretch...
