After a night in Milan and three nights in Florence, the Casolare was a quiet and relaxing retreat. Everything about it is beautiful. It is a ways down a gravel road and is surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards. Beautiful gardens and pool. We stayed in for dinner one night. I was not blown away by the food. We chatted...

We went back to this wonderful villa for what turned out to be another incredible stay. The Hosts are truly attentive and super people. It felt more like staying with family you like than just another villa. They prepare the nightly meals fresh which were always worth coming 'home' to. And they take such pride in running their establishment. What...

We did not stay at Casolare di Libbiano, but we traveled there for the day to take a cooking class with Berta and Carlo. My mother and I took the class while our husbands lounged by the pool and then joined us for a 4 course lunch. Casolare di Libbiano is located in the countryside just outside of San Gimignano....

Stayed 4 days here in warm October weather. Loved the room (upstairs) beautiful rural elegant. Had to sit in lounge to pick up wifi - bedroom walls too thick. Breakfast OK, Dinner outstanding. The food was so good we decided to do the cookery course - excellent- very professionally taught and we learned how to prepare the tastiest dishes we...

Too often one travels and builds up their hopes to the point of being disappointed when they see that reality doesn't measure up to their fantasy. Not so with Casolare di Libbiano -- it was everything we hoped Tuscany would be! My wife and I, along with two other couples, visited Tuscany in October, 2014; we were looking for an...

My mother and I stayed at Casolare in early October - it was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Berta and Andrea, the proprietors, could not have been more gracious. The place is beautiful - set among vineyards and olive trees, in a lovely rural area just outside of San Gimignano. We also took Berta and Chef Carlos' cooking...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in September 2014 and used the inn as a base to explore nearby San Gimignano (5min drive) and other parts of Tuscany. In total we spent 11 nights in Tuscany and this was an exceptional place to stay. We decided to have dinner just the first night ( 28 Eur pp), but...

My friend and I recently had the wonderful opportunity to stay at Casolare for 3 nights. It is located a few km outside San Gimignano - a perfect town to center your Tuscany adventure. The inn is fabulous, comfortable, very well restored with many little places to sit and catch up on your reading or just relax. Berta and Andrea...

We stayed here 5 nights in Aug 2014, and made this place our base to explore Tuscany. We were 2 Cuban families traveling by car in Italy, and both Andrea and Bertha made us feel very welcome. We loved chatting with them. We enjoyed our short stay, regretted not spending a whole day here hanging around enjoying the views, reading...
