We stayed for three nights on the top floor in two adjoining rooms, both had absolutely stunning views over glorious Tuscan countryside. There are lots of rooms that have this but there are some at the front which look out into the main street which although traffic free is very busy with tourists. Our rooms were basic but very clean....

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Bel Soggiorno Taormina during Christmas 2008. We had a quadruple room ... the room was divided by a made-up ceiling so there were two beds "downstairs" and another two "upstairs". There were TVs on both floors. The room had a splendid balcony with a marvellous view of Taormina Bay. It was really...

Well situated in the heart of this interesting town, although not far from one of the entrance gates (where the taxi had to drop us off, as it couldn’t come into the town centre). We had rooms overlooking the main street – interesting, full of activity and bustling during the day (although no road traffic). We thought it might be...

The hotel is situated in the Castle of San Gimignano in Tuscany. It is near to a parking station -which was very convenient - and just a few steps from the...

Really liked this place - agree with all the positive reviews this has had. Reception people are charming, hotel is fairly simple, rooms are old and slightly tatty but clean and bathroom was not at all bad. The view from our room over the countryside was utterly fabulous. We paid 15 euros to park in their covered car park just...

Because of reviews on this website, we asked for 2 rooms that had a balcony (were travelling with our 2 teenage daughters). We shared a HUGE balcony with them that looked over the Tuscan countryside. The view was so breathtaking, we got a pizza for dinner and sat there until it got dark. The rooms were a little old but...

We wanted to stay in La Cisterna or Leon Bianco, but both were full (even when attempting to book six months in advance) so we stayed at Bel Soggiorno instead - and were not disappointed. We did pay extra for the countryside view room, but I wouldn't bother another time as the same view (and it is wonderful) is available...

Friendly reception and lovely room on the first floor. Room was spacious spotless, with a beautfully clean bathroom. Window and shutters opened...
