First of all the place is easy to find. It is located on the top of a green hill from which you can see the towers of San Gimignano and all the surroundings are beautiful. Rooms are comfortable, large and warm. The furniture and the floor are just as they were centuries ago: you breath the air of tradition, of...

We made reservations in advance to eat here. There is no menu, and the dinner is price fixed. The dining room, converted a 100 years ago from a barn, was furnished with hand crafted furniture, and heads of local game. We had antipasto of local meats and cheeses, a pasta first plate, salad, wild boar second plate, dessert, capuccino and...

Great location. Fantastic views all around. Food and wine was great. Would definitely plan on at least one dinner here during your stay. Quite a few ate all meals here. Breakfast each morning here got us off to a good start on our journey. Rented a car for the three nights we were here. Easy to get around. Great shopping,...

Podere Villuzza offers beautiful views of the countryside and the nearby towers of San Gimignano as well as a pleasant pool. Our room was basic and not too spacious but clean and equiped with a fan and mosquito nets in the window frames (much needed devices on warm summer days). Breakfast was basic too but the evening meal was fine....

We had a wonderful time at the family run Podere Villuzza! The food was amazing, the faculties were beautiful and the scenery was incredible. This was what we dreamed the Tuscan countryside would look like and it exceed our expectations with gorgeous San Gimignano in the distance. We can't wait to come back with our whole family!

We stayed here a couple of times in the last couple of years. When we arrived the first time we were immediately enthousiastic about the location. We had a lot of holidays in Italy but this is really our favorite location! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The garden and the pool are beautiful. At your choice you can have...

We had planned to stay three nights but it took only a few minutes to realize that Podere Villuzza was not for us. Our room was dark, shabby and had a rather unsavoury smell. The lack of wifi was only a precursor to other disappointments. The breakfast was poor, the location was rather difficult to find and the 6 am...

Although it's been at least 10 yrs since my husband and I stayed here.....I just signed up for Trip Advisor....so here is my review. We found this lovely farmhouse through Karen Brown years ago. We still remember it as one of our most wonderful memories ever. I don't remember the names of the people who owned it then....and I just...
