Delightful location on a hill 25 mins walk along a quiet lane (steep hill but it is Tuscany). Pool looked great fun and s beer on the terrace was tempting but not in the cool spring weather. Maybe next time try mid autumn when the crowds will have backed off and the harvest is in full swing

We spent a very happy week in the Podere and were lucky to have the room with a beautiful view of SG. It is possible to walk into SG down the old road but it requires stamina and a torch if you are returning in the dark. We slept very well and were surrounded by the noises of the country... More

the B&B lies on the hills opposite of San Gimignano so during breakfast or a drink in the evening you can enjoy the beautiful view of Tuscany. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable having everything what one needs (hair dryers, mini bar) Having only two nights there I didn't use the pool in the garden - but I... More

We just finished our family vacation to Italy, and of all the places we stayed while we were there, this was by far our favorite. The staff here go the extra mile and Irene was amazing, anything you needed she was there with. The views from the pool side were amazing, the pictures on their website are exactly the views... Having read all the good comments about this hotel we made a reservation for 2 nights. When we arrived, we were told that due to a virus in the computer there was a problem of overbooking but we did not have to worry because they had made a reservation for us in another hotel. The lady told us not to... More

Staying at this villa was a wonderful experience. The room was perfect-it had a great view of the town of San Gimignano and was spacious. Breakfast was a nice treat. The walk to town was my favorite. It's a 15 min stroll into town through the Tuscan countryside. The town of San Gimignano is so worth visiting.

I have just returned from a week's holiday in San Gimignano, Tuscany. I was lucky enough to stay at a wonderful farmhouse about 2km from San Gimignano - Podere Sant Elena. My friend and I stayed in the apartment (defianately worth paying the small amount extra for) - it was very well equipt with a lounge, kitchen, dressing room, bathroom... More
