This is a wonderful property on a 10 acre vineyard just outside of Siena. We took a train into Siena and got a taxi to the property the first time. From then on, we were able to walk to the bus stop about 10 minutes away to catch a bus in and out of the city. The property itself is... More

We stayed at Santa 10 with our two young children in Sept for 7 days and it was the highlight of our 3 week road trip in Europe, it is simply beautiful. It is 5 mins from Siena town, has the most stunning views and you are surrounded by their vineyard and olive farm. We were lucky to be there... More

Santa10 was the perfect retreat and base for day trips in and around Siena. We stayed for five nights in the Lemmon House which was wonderful. Gianni and Elisa were lovely hosts who welcomed us with a huge breakfast hamper. Elisa even made a cake for us on the day we arrived which was delicious. The large cottage was extremely... More

The hosts were quite helpful in planning our time near Siena. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the crepes, and it was a nice surprise to have a washer and dryer available for our use. Gianni gave us a tour of his winery and shared a lot of information about the history of the house. It was amazing to see Siena... More

OUr family stayed in the beautifully renovated 1000 year old tower that overlooked the walled town of Siena and rolling Tuscan vineyards. A sort drive or stroll into town Santa10 is both secluded and central. The relaxed atmosphere was a perfect mix of having personal space and yet feeling part of an inviting Italian family. The rooms are tastefully spacious... More

By far this was our best stay of our 2 week vacation in Italy. We stayed in the double room and all the previous positive reviews are true regarding the views, the hospitality of the hosts, the pool, the quality of the bed/room/bathroom etc. The host Gianni graciously took time to show us his wine cellar and showed us an... My wife and I stayed in the beautifully decorated Lemon House in September for 1 week with our two children aged 6 and 8 (they shared a double bed). We only spent two nights here but wish we could have stayed longer. Gianni and Elisa are delightful. They serve a delicious breakfast that they make themselves. The other reviews are right - the view out the bedroom window of the city of Siena is spectacular. There is even a washer available for guests, a welcome thing if you are... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Santa Regina is a small farm with a surface of eight hectares of land around two buildings with a sighting tower dating back to 1000 AD just outside Siena. We produce oil and wine.We ended up renovating our very small farm in the spring of 2009, where we live since 1996. At the moment we offer one double room with bathroom and view on Siena, that we love, a homemade breakfast and the usage of our swimming pool. We offer an appartment too, the old house of lemmon trees with a big room, a bathroom and a kitchen.Weddings in the open air are welcome in our farmyard. We also have some addresses to suggest you if you look for something different from what we offer you or if you like to change. Addresses of places created and managed with care, like we believe we have done as well. We are 4, or better 5. Gianni is an accountant, a yachtsman, and a farmer who is jealous of his tractor, he is quite and meditative. Elisa is a chatty mathematician, always in ferment. Tommaso and Teresa are our sons. They are 14 and 10 years old. Tommaso is curious, lazy, ironic... Teresa is lively, sharp, curious... Finally, Macchia, she is a docile and affectionate Golden Retriever. ... more   less
