The Palazza Ravizzi is a wonderful oasis in Siena. They back garden/terrace has views over the Tuscan hills that are so beautifly they almost look fake. I think we had the best room in the hotel, possibly the best room in all of Siena. We had the garden room, which used to be the "tea room" about 100 years ago....

This hotel provided us with a spacious, well appointed room. The bathroom was modern, well-maintained and clean. The back of the hotel is a garden with an amazing view of the countryside near Siena and was also where breakfast was served each day. Breakfast offered a range of breads and pastries, along with fresh fruit, salami/ham, and a lot more....

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms are comfortable and the garden in the back relaxing. The hotel's location is another plus: it sits slightly away from all the tourist activity - a nice refuge in the evening. The breakfast is also very good. I would return here on my next stay in this...

Really love this hotel. Siena is a walking city, so nothing is really far away. You can drive right up to the front door and then they provide free parking area. This is a real plus in Siena. Staff are charming and helpful. Concierge responded promptly to pre arrival e-mails requesting restaurant reservations. The garden is really a gem. After...

Our room won best view hands down! This hotel is charming, clean, comfortable and friendly. Great location. Across the street and through the arch are shops & restaurants. Just a five minute walk to the square. Private parking. Easy to find. Bottled water on the bedside table. Very nice breakfast buffet that you can eat sitting in their garden with...

My husband and i have recently returned from a trip to Tuscany to celebrate a freind's wedding. We spent a night at the Palazzo Ravizza on a whistle stop tour of Siena. The first thing to point out was the helpful staff when I phoned for directions as our Sat Nav was not playing fair. On arrival we were able...

Although we stayed in the loft room which is quite basic (our choice), we had the benefits of a truly stunning hotel. The location is only minutes from the centre, the staff could not have been more helpful, the breakfast was the best we had in Italy and the view was spectacular. As advised by the staff,we did a horse...

Like other reviewers we thought this was an excellent comfortable hotel, in a very good location just inside the city walls. It is an easy walk to the Duomo and Campo. The room was large and comfortable, though it could be hot - there is aircon, but it isn't very effective. A huge plus is the garden at the back,...

This hotel is located right inside the city walls with one side opening onto the street and the other side overlooking the beautiful countryside. The free parking was very convenient. The garden/terrace and public areas inside the hotel were all lovely, as was our room with it's beautiful marble bath. Book far enough in advance to secure junior suite #4,...
