I only had one night at Hotel Italia, but have only good to say about it. The location is perfect, staff excellent, room lovely and the breakfast great. If I'm lucky enough to get to Siena again, this is where I'll be staying without a doubt!!

Hotel Italia is great value for money. Rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was the biggest bathroom of the hotels we stayed in in Italy. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It must be said that the hotel is not near the centre of Siena but the walk into town...

Dear Guest from the far Sidney, grazie!!! Thanks for your nice comment about us, I’m really happy your stay was satisfying. About location, the hotel is not in the centre but it’s just 300 meters far from Porta Camollia where the pedestrian area starts. From Hotel Italia to Piazza del Campo (the main Piazza) it’s exactly 1,7 km (Google Maps)....

We hadn't prebooked this hotel but found it after we had arrived on the train. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this was definitely one of the best things about the hotel. The location was also fabulous. We were about a 10-15 minute walk away from the town and about 5 mins from train station. The room we...

One of the best rooms we stayed in whilst in Italy, however the receptionist told us only about 20 rooms have been recently renovated, so make sure you book one of the new rooms. Location is a little too far from the centre of Siena, however it is the perfect location if you are catching the train to or from...

Dear Guest, thanks for your review. We have standard, superior and the brand new executive rooms and I’m happy you enjoyed your stay in our top quality accommodation. About the escalator from the railway station please note that it just opened a few months ago and we are now buying advertising spaces to drive guests to the hotel. Now because...

Located not far from the top of the series of escalators(9) which take you from the train station to the city walls. Easy walk, even pulling suitcases. Nice walk to locations in towns. Miriam at the front desk was very helpful, mapping locations of locations of sights and restaurants away from the central tourist areas. Room on the 4th floor...

We arrived in Sienna in the afternoon. Hotel well signed, and parking available-but I would recommend reserving as there are not many places. Hotel room ok, Bathroom looked renovated. Our room was on the First floor, there were floorboards on this level. Made for noisy footsteps and we noticed that the walls were also very thin. You could hear everything...

Dear Guest, your reviews are very important to us and I thank you for leaving a comment about Hotel Italia Siena. I’m sorry about the noise you heard. Some rooms have this problem. This is an hotel born from an ancient historic building in 1969 and in those days the importance of the insulation was not like today. The new...

The room was average and the breakfast was fine but I was not pleased with the customer service. Dear Guest, thanks for leaving a review about Hotel Italia Siena. I’m really sorry about what you write. I apology for what happened. I’m sure the lady you mention was alone and was not her intention to be rude. I take all my responsibility for scheduling wrong shifts for a day where 2 persons were probably needed, but you’re right,...

The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The room was beautifully decorated and felt more like a 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel.
