My partner and I were at the Albergo Bernini earlier in Oct '10 and were generally pleased. This is a very simple hotel -- more of a guest house than a real hotel. It's more or less on one level (inconspicuous entrance through an apartment building) with a nice breakfast balcony overlooking the town (great vista). The rooms are small...

We stayed at Albergo Bernini for two nights and absolutely loved it and Siena. It was a great change of pace from busy Rome and we were able to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty. I would recommend Albergo Bernini to anyone!

Five of my family stayed at the Albergo for 3 nights in Room 10 and 11. The rooms are no frills, but roomy and clean. The shared bathrooms are large and bright. The terrace is everything that has been written of it and more. I could have sat up there all day long. Daniela and her staff went out of...

This lovely budget hotel is a great value. It is in a reasonably convenient location in the historic center. All the sites and restaurants are walkable. Our room was clean and cheerful. The hostess, Daniela, was charming and very helpful. The view from the hotel and the breakfast terrace is spectacular. The hotel lies across a deep valley from the...

We were told of this little Tuscan gem by a friend of ours who had stayed there a few weeks before. We were not dissapointed. The views from the terrace are incredible and the light means that no two views of it are the same. So relaxing and peaceful up there I could have happily stayed on the terrace with...

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the terrace patio for our breakfasts and one evening of wine drinking while chatting with other hotel stayers. The location was ideal, close to major bus routes and the Campo. The Bernini sisters, Carlotta and Daniela have excellent english and will help you with all your requests. We were recommended to eat at Ristorante...

Daneila is really helpful and accommodating. We were booked into a smaller room but a larger one ended up being available, which she gave us the option of renting instead for just a few more euros. The room was very large, with a standard European bathroom, and air conditioning. The B&B was quiet and clean with free wifi. The main...

I spent one night at Albergo Bernini as part my 50th birthday solo trip to Italy. As a single female traveler I was particularly interested in value, location and safety. From the first time I contacted this hotel, Daniella went out of her way to help me with every aspect of my stay in Siena. She is the type of...
