My wife and I were decided to spend more than just a day or so in Siena. We carefully chose this location because it was out side of il centro but on a bus route for city buses. It had a pool, it had "a room with a view" something my wife tries to make happen as often as possible...

This hotel is situated outside of the historic part of Siena. If you travel without a car you have to take a taxi from the train station. Right in front of the hotel is a bus stop which brings you to the center in about 30 min . The buses run about every 15 minutes. It is quite worthwhile to...

The long, tree-lined drive up to the Villa is impressive. The Villa was built in the late 1790’s and even has a fresco in the hall done in the early 1800’s. Our room was spacious with an adjoining bathroom. The grounds to the villa are wonderful; in the summer you can sit on the numerous chairs under shady trees. There...

On outskirts of town, about 20 minutes by bus to city centre, and overlooking surrounding countryside. Peaceful, quiet and readily accessible. Loved eating in the restaurant with the type of service and attitudes that we thought had disappeared form the planet long ago. Many thanks for a great stay.

This is a beautiful grand dame of a hotel just outside Siena, which we completely fell in love with. It has a old world charm that oozes from its every pore, a beautiful main building, with many different nooks and crannies inside and out in which people relax and chat. Everyone who works at this family run hotel is friendly...

This is a beautiful hotel on the edge of Siena. Our room had a great view of the city. It's also a great base to explore the city as a bus goes into town from right outside the hotel. We had a car but used the bus as parking is a challenge in Siena. We had dinner in the restaurant...

this is a lovely place- quiet, charming, elegant and full of history. The grounds are tree lined- resident peacocks (caged) - outdoor seating if weather permits. I was there in October and it was warm in the afternoons but brisk am. the breakfasts are delicious and the staff are attentive and respectful. There is a great history to the site-...

This is a beautiful, small hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. The pool area is exquisite and the gardens beautiful. We were there at the same time as a large family group which was a shame. Despite being very nice people it is easy in a small venue for one large group to dominate. The set meal in the evening was...

Very relaxed, traditional hotel. Located on outskirts of Siena - good bus/taxi links but we walked the 2 miles each way every time - good exercise to burn off pasta, pizza, ice cream & beer! Good pool - not overcrowded even though hotel busy - ample loungers around pool and beautiful gardens. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable receptionists . Waiters/maids all very...
