This was the best bathroom out of our 13 nights in Italy. My wife is very sensitive to the bathroom facilities so this was a big deal. The staff of Daniella and John were very nice. Especially Daniella. We love her still now after being back home a week. Daniella also made two great recommendations for dinner for our two...

Perfectly located five minutes from the Campo. Very friendly owners/managers who let us feel at home during our stay and provided us with advise and information when needed. Our room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed fresh flowers and daily supply of chocolates . Assistance with carrying our luggage (up and down the second flor) was also appreciated. There...

If, for you, traveling is not about transferring yourself from one western-style bedroom to the next, if your cultural interest runs deeper than that and so you are looking for a more authentic Sienese experience, I'd recommend this historic townhouse only steps from the Piazza del Campo within the ancient city walls of Siena. I spent five nights at the...

Palazzo Masi in Siena was just a wonderful spot us. An ancient (800 year old) building with clean, well-furnished, spacious rooms. Our hosts were delightful, responsive and very very helpful, suggesting wonderful restaurants for our stay in Siena. Palazzo Masi is so conveniently located; we could walk all over Siena and then leisurely return to our lovely room. We felt...

The location is great, just a few steps of the main square! The owner is very friendly and there´s free wi-fi internet. But for the price we paid, comparing to the other hotels of this trip, I expected more. There´s no air conditioning, so you have to sleep with the windows opened and the street is very noisy. In addition,...

This hotel has a prime location near the Piazza Campo. Daniela and her husband are the owners who run a very nice hotel. The rooms are fine, beds comfortable and for some, the bathroom down the hall (no problem.) Daniela is a sweetheart who knows the city well, offers sound, practical advice and is quite accommodating. We would definitely stay...

If you want the flavor of living in medieval Siena then you must stay in the old city center. Palozzo gives you that feeling when you put your key in the street door to enter into a centuries old palozzo. Passersby think you live there! The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are new, and the furniture is antique (some from...

We stayed at Palazzo Masi for 4 nights in the L'Arco room, which was spacious and well furnished. The only downside was the private bathroom, which was a short walk down the hallway. During the day the location of the bathroom was not a problem...but if you have to pay a visit in the middle of the night it's not...
