We stayed for 2 nights here while we were in Siena and we were very happy. The staff was very friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we needed and information about Siena. The hotel is fairly simple but very comfortable and nice. The location is great with just a couple minute walk to Il campo and close to...

Stayed at Antica Residenza Cicogna for two nights, spring 2016, and had a good experience. Rate seemed very reasonable; room was small but comfortable, and the building is old and charming. Good service--we were arriving after hours and one of the managers stayed up for us and was proactive (in a helpful way) in confirming our travel details. The breakfast...

It is in a wonderful building in a central location. The room was simple but comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly - giving good recomendations for where to eat. This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Siena. Very comfortable. Elisa is wonderful and very helpful. Breakfasts are very good. It is within walking distance of everything you may want to see including Il Campo and and the Basilica. Easy to day trip into the countryside.

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. Small but adequate rooms; excellent central location within the walls; good breakfast. Lovely hosts who were good with recommendations. Only negative was the computer was extremely old with an out of date browser.

As a group of 6 adults, we had booked both their suites and a single room for 3 nights in Siena. The Ricami suite had 2 rooms – the first with two single beds and the second with a double bed and was perfect for 3 adults (my in-laws’ family). My wife and I occupied the Paresaggi suite again with...

Great location in a wonderful city. Treated us like family. Beautiful and comfortable room with private bath. 5 minute walk to the Piazza del Campo, depending upon if you stop for gelato on the way. Very good breakfast – meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, fruit, coffee, cappuccino, and espresso. Close to many restaurants and gelato stores, and easy to get to...

When thinking about the perfect place to stay in a city in Italy, my focus is on: 1) Location, 2) ambience of environment, 3) helpfulness and friendliness of host, 4) nice room, 5) reasonable price.....Residenza La Cicogna meets each of these requirements at the highest level. Elisa could not have been more helpful and accommodating to me and my son....
