Great choice for our stay in Siena. Large and clean room, bathroom with fluffy towels and bathtub (rain showerhead), and decent wi-fi during the day. About 10-15 minutes' walk to main Piazza or Duomo depending on how many gelato shops you visit along the way. Good shopping on the main streets as well. Excellent front desk assistance with booking advance...

In the heart of the medieval walls.......what a great find great value for money. The outside courtyard was great, it's not a flash hotel, it doesnt need to be to say it's authentic does it a disservice it is just superb. Reception/ hotel staff and restaurant (breakfast only), faultless and v friendly, and car parking as well. If you are...

This is a modernised 13th century religious house, within easy walking distance of the Il Campo and the Duomo. The rooms are interesting, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are plenty of sockets for charging tablets and phones, and free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel. Each room is decorated differently and in keeping with the overall ambience of the hotel....

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in April 2016. It was a wonderful place to stay. The room was perfect with a wonderful view. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was perfect. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. I also thought it was very economically priced. I would stay here again...

The rooms are quite spacious and clean, it is not far off the piazza Il Campo and the Duomo as well as from restaurants and osterias so very convenient to visit Siena. The personnel is very nice and attentive. As It is located in a former cloister, the place has a lot of character. The one drawback is that the...

Il Chiostro Del Carmine is a modernized 13th century cloister, complete with entry gate and walls enclosing the inner courtyard, sitting rooms, chapel, a beautiful breakfast room, and grand stairs to upper floors. The building was a cloister and the interior has retained its authenticity with modern conveniences. The bountiful breakfast had it all: savory, sweet, salty, fresh fruit, cereals,...

This hotel was wonderful and our view of the bell tower and countryside was magical. The hotel staff was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I loved that our first floor room had a door to a balcony, however I was not comfortable cracking the door open at night and we did not have any windows to crack...

Il Chiostro del Carmine is a wonderful stay, with very comfortable rooms, and in our case a spectacular view of the Sienese countryside. Our friends did not have the view we had but did get a huge beautiful terrace to make up for it. This was an active monastery until just 10 years ago, and the in-hotel chapel is still...

Living in an old cloisters in this historic city is a good combination of the visit. The hotel can be reached by car, but make sure ur plate gets registered as this city has controlled traffic. Otherwise u will get a nice fine. All is in walking distance with the ups and downs of a city built on hills. The...

My experience here was really good We spend here 5 or 6 nights. It is an old convent, and rooms are absolutely charming, very quiet, very clean, economic and the service was very great, the recepcionist was very careful and always tried to help us. The breakfast buffet was nice, and I would repeat if I return back to Siena
