I recently stayed five nights. The room was small (I was traveling solo) but extremely clean and comfortable. Met by staff who carried my luggage up the stairs and was immediately offered a coffee or cold drink. As others have said it is really more like a B&B which suited me just fine - it was warm and friendly and...

We liked everything: very friendly staff, beautiful view from our rooftop terrace, a great breakfast buffet with options for everybody and the location in the historic centre, in a small quiet alley but just a few minutes walk away from the main square.

I would definitely stay here again; the Primavera was a lovely base for our two days exploring Perugia. The room was very clean--a top priority for me--and the bathroom was modern and attractive (Room 35). The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was superb, as was the coffee. We didn't realize until our second morning that we could ask for...

Below are my notes regarding our stay, which lists both the pros and cons of Primavera. Good Cost and Value Since we were only dropping anchor in Perugia for one night, we didn't go for our typical higher star hotels. Our goal was to find a decent place to stay that was clean and easily accessible. For 67 euros a...

My husband, daughter and I recently spent three nights at the Primavera. It occupies the top floors of an apartment building and I'd call it more of a bread and breakfast, owned and operated by a wonderful family. We reserved two rooms, a double and single. I had read about the double room (41) with the terrace and we were...

Dear ellencmog, thank you for your nice review...we remember your beautiful family :) We are happy you could stay in the room you preferred. The view from there is amazing, and every season of the year you can admire the wonderful nuances of the sky. Just today we saw the first snowflaskes! It is the perfect time to enjoy a...

I had a great stay here! This little hotel is an excellent value in the historic center of Perugia. You can easily arrive by public transport - just take the train to Perugia and then the mini-metro to "Cupa". My room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean. The shower was hot and the breakfast was good. I used to live...

This is a lovely small hotel at the top of the old town of Perugia. It's in walking distance of many of Perugia's attractions and fascinating to wander round the old streets below. We had the best room in the hotel – on the top floor with a terrace with a view over the rooftops of Perugia to the country...

Dear Mike S, thank you for your nice review! We knew that it was a special day for you! We are happy that you slept well, sleeping is very important when you are on holidays, like the good food and attractions in the city. Yes, the shower is tiny :) we are in the attic ;) but we are glad...

This is a charming hotel in Perugia. It is close to the old section of town and everything is convenient. One morning, they served a delicious pear and chocolate cake at breakfast. I commented that it was one of the best that I had ever tasted. The owner checked the bakery in the morning and went out of her way...

This hotel was a real find - a small very comfortable room in an old house on a quiet street in the Porta Susana neighborhood, Chiara the owner grew up there (and her mother is still there in the afternoons), and they have been seeing guests since 1949! A lovely breakfast (fresh pastries and fruit, hard and soft boiled eggs...

Dear greentree6, thank you so much! It is nice to have reminded everyone that the District to which we belong is to Porta Susanna! It has become so popular after winning the competition held in July against the other districts of Perugia, on the occasion of important historical commemoration called "Perugia 1416". This beautiful event brought us back in time...

I highly recommend this small but perfectly formed little hotel in the middle of Perugia. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean. Dear Holiday500, thank you for your nice review.
