This budget hotel shares entrance and reception with 4-star Hotel Euler. To get to your room requires guidance by the staff and finding your way back to your room later on might be a puzzling challenge as the City hotel is located in interconnected building with various levels and not necessarily elevator access, so be careful if you cannot climb...

Dear guest We thank you for choosing the City Inn hotel for your stay in Basel as well as for sharing your precise review with other travellers. There is nothing to add, maybe just that there are also larger rooms available, e.g. double rooms or deluxe rooms offering more comfort and elevator access. Thanks again for the good score and...

Close to rail station, very comfortable room, with grade A shower, wifi also available. Check in was very friendly and welcoming with all the info you need. Everyone in Basel seem so friendly and everything runs on time (as you would expect) The surrounding area is quite but we were not expecting a party town.

Room was really small and under the roof and had a strange mushy smell in the room. The AC in the room made a lot of noise. You have to climb 2 flight of stairs to get to your room after going half way up with the lift. The staff are friendly and nice.

Dear Alok Ravinder We thank you for your stay at the City Inn as well as for your feedback. Sorry to hear that the comfort at the City Inn did not meat your expectations. We cannot change the hardware but at least we got an extra point for friendliness :) Best regards from Basel Jana Jeschek General Manager

I liked the rooms. The room was mostly white with bits of neon. My room had a lot of sunshine and a really comfortable bed. The end result was a funky, tasteful and comfortable room. You have the option of not opting for breakfast which makes the room cheaper. I think the hotel is good value for money. It is...

Walking distance to Swiss and French Rail Stations as well as Airport Bus. The staff go beyond their regular duties to accommodate your needs. Very clean environment and friendly service. Good food, good service what else do you want for those excellent room rates. Will be back for sure!

Cannot thank the staff at City Inn enough! Had a terrible flight, delayed for 24hours, the staff here cancelled my initial nights stay so that I was not charged, then as I was only staying for one further night, my partner and I were upgraded to a deluxe room free of charge! I was picked up from the airport on...

Fine for a night and the location is superb for public transport but nothing to write home about and price was not that much lower. They are owned and managed by the Euler hotel people so you do share the lobby with them and their guests.

We stayed at city inn cause we had to go to Basel airport in the morning. The bus stop to the airport was about 50m from the hotel, exactly infront of the Basel train station. Location had lots of food options nearby like McD, Burger King, Migros supermarket and also an asian restaurant across the street. Rooms had low ceilings...
