Arrived late, and first impressions was this was some sort of cult Hotel! Must have been the group sat "Chilling" outside and being greeted by one who let me in via a code/Key system. Then the Alpha Energy tablet on the bed! Seemed a bit weird! I was just there for a bed for the night, so locked the door...

A great hotel with big and comfortable rooms, a great buffet breakfast and very nice and helpful staff. A free ticket for public transport provided by the hotel was a huge bonus and enabled us to travel all the length of the lake many times. The lake itself is very pictoresque and we'll worth seeing. What is even more important...

We loved this hotel! Spacious with good size bathroom & bath & a tv - yeah! The breakfast was great - I enjoyed the champagne. Although our room was on the main road at the front it wasn't too noisy & we slept ok. We used Thun as a base to go to Jungfraujoch. Thun is a lovely town ....

Location of the hotel is good for Thun and Bern area (if you have a car). The staff was very friendly, courteous, and cheerful. They were willing to help and guide for tourist locations/visits. You may reach to Thun lake and some other sites for a nice view by walk. Breakfast was pretty good and restaurant of the hotel also...

I knew I would be arriving late due to my Eiger adventure, so I called several times to let them know. I did arrive about 10pm, but it was no problem. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast next morning was awesome! Traditional Swiss cereal "Bircherműesli" cooked oat flakes, chilled with fruit, nuts and milk or yogurt is very...

The Alpha is probably best graded at the top end of 'backpacker' hotels - the rooms are basic yet comfortable and the hotel has a lot of little touches that elevate it above the rest - Free bus passes, free snacks and coffee in reception, good bar, great breakfast. For Switzerland, it is relatively cheap and I think it offers...

I stayed here with a colleague on a business trip. We got in after dark but we're impressed with the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Food in the restaurant was great and the staff were really helpful!

We had a pretty large hotelroom, with everything you need. The room was clean, but really basic. The hotel has a large public parking across the road for which you have to pay. In the lobby you can get free coffee and muffins. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was good but a little bit expensive.

nice relaxing stay. good breakfast and friendly staff. the rooms on the top floor are somewhat low and have lots of beams everywhere, so not ideal for tall people. i do believe that they are renovating them at some stage.
