Helpful desk staff and relatively clean room, comfortable bed. My room in the back (42) was superbly quiet away from the street noise...until my neighbors started testing out their bed. Paper thin walls. Good rate for convenient location near the train. There seems to be free Wi-Fi, despite my booking indicating otherwise.

The hotel is clean and right by the train station. However I will never stay there again. I was in room 11, on the European floor 1/American floor 2. The curtains of the room did not close all the way and since I could see people outside the window and across the street, I assumed that they too could see...

We stayed for two nights in the Hotel Lido and were very happy with the room and the breakfast. It is one of the very few hotels which are in the price range of what could be called "reasonable" The position of this hotel is first class, it's only five minutes walk from the main railway station, five minutes from...

This was one of the ONLY affordable hotels that we could find in Geneva, Switzerland. Centrally located and very easy to walk the famous fountain and lake from the hotel. There are also plenty of great and inexpensive restaurants close to this hotel. We would stay here again if we could afford Geneva. It was a very expensive city, aside...

We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest with a central location. It is quite old but clean. It was very warm but it was too noisy outside to sleep with the window open. There was a fan in the room but this want enough. Discounted car park at train station nearby.

We just needed one night and this was a good value and a convenient location. Parking is at the train station. Room was adequate size for us. We have never stayed in Geneva before so not much to compare it to.

Hotel Lido is a very basic hotel with an excellent location. Close to the railway station, shopping street and restaurants. Rooms are small and simply furnished. In my single room there was a spacy, clean bathroom. I stayed at fifth floor, where it was quite quiet. I can imagine that street noise can be heard in lower floors, if room...

5 min walking distance from Cornavin railway station (trains from airport), 400m from Mont Blanc bridge and center of the city, close to many restaurant offering different cuisine from worldwide countries - it is hard to find so well located hotel with big clean rooms and quite satisfactory breakfast. I would not look for another hotel in case arrive Geneva...

This is the worst bed I have slept in probably in my life. The mattress was soft, sinking and you could feel all the springs. This is disrespectful to customers. The shower was too small. The location is great, next to the train station and close to the lake but I do not recommend anyone to stay there until the...
