Some report that noise from the main street stops them opening the window and, in the absence of air conditioning, makes the room stuffy. But for me no problem, since my room faced onto the back, with a quiet and pleasant outlook. Room location is therefore significant during the warmer months. Otherwise I agree with most others -- fine if...

The hotel is very well located. Close to the train station, clean, and comfortable. Not luxury, but honest and satisfying. A day transport ticket is available to the guests, for free. The girl in the reception desk was very polite and nice.

Convenient to the Cornavin Transit station, this no frills property makes for a lean, albeit somewhat Spartan base while in Geneva. You may wish to spend more of your leisure time south of the river but the Lido provides an affordable way to spend a few evenings in an otherwise expensive city.

Very good location. you can take the bus for one stop from the train station and very easy to find the hotel. We met very very extremely nice staff who's young girl. We paid around £60 for B&B here at short notice. Good value for such an excellent position. 2 mins from station, 10 mins from old town - walking. Clean, functional, pleasant staff. How many more characters to go now....?

This was our second time at this hotel (previously in 2010) and it was exactly as we remembered! The location was an easy walk from the main station, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was serviced daily. We were in a family room (4) and it suited our purpose well. We chose to...

I stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions, and I was completely satisfied on both occasions. But I think what made this place so great was the customer service, the staff made us feel so welcome and helped us navigate Geneva.

I stayed there for a few nights when I was at eBace at the convention center. The hotel is perfectly placed in the center of the city, just a 3 minute walk to either the train station or the lake. It is not a very big hotel(the elevator is the smallest in history) but the service was good, the room...

The Lido hotel is in an excellent location with a short walk from both the main station and lake Geneva. In fact you could walk to many attractions from it as well as good restaurants and bars. While not luxury it was all you need. Totally clean, comfortable , good breakfast, friendly staff, good value.
