The hotel is not bad and very clean. It is also good located and the view from the room is amazing (we had a room in the 5th floor with balcony). It is very quiet. The bedrooms are big and the bathrooms are small. The hotel has an old wood charm with carpet floors.

We stayed at the Sunstar Alpine Familienhotel Davos for one night in March 2015 (this is the 3* accommodation not the neighbouring 4* property as shown in the photo). Positives: - The location is great. A 2 minute walk to the main Promenade and a 5 minute walk to Davos Platz station and the lifts to Jakobshorn. - There was...

This hotel had one of my most favorite things about hotels in Swtzerland: fluffy down duvets on the beds. They make snuggling in on cold winter mornings a delight, and the ones here were lovely. Our room here was of good size and very clean. The staff were friendly enough though not overly helpful, especially in comparison with their cousins...

The hotel is situated in a good location, not far from the railway station in Davos Platz. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good. I had a nice view to the mountains. It has a small but clean and nice swimming pool. I could not enjoy the sauna because it was always closed at the hours I was...

We traveled to Davos to celebrate a birthday with friends' and couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The hotel itself is as others have mentioned is a no frills, good stay for the slopes and walks in the city' but the service, and the friendliness of the staff truly made our stay memorable. Margret Kroll from the front...

This is a no frills hotel which covers your basic needs for a ski trip. The staff was helpful, it was clean and the location was away for the restaurant and bar streets so it was nice and quiet. Some rooms had a wonderful view of the slopes and mountains. However, it felt a bit overpriced - even for Switzerland....

Good Hotel, clean, staff friendly and helpful, food a bit unusual but good. One small drawback, it seems to be geared up more for the Germans, not much information written in English.

We stayed here in January. The hotel is nice, rooms good, food ok, manageress wonderful. Generally service is good. There are 3 issues - firstly the van drivers - honestly its like they don't work for the hotel. They won't drive down to the family hotel as they really work for the posh 4 star up the hill which means...
