Before traveling to Zermatt, i inquired at about 40 hotels in the town….many were closed already for the season, which narrowed it down a bit, but considering all that, i don't know how i got so lucky as to have chosen the Suitenhotel Zurbriggen. Obviously the angels were shining down upon me for this one. They picked us up from...

Staying at Suitenhotel Zurbriggen was the highlight of our trip to Switzerland. Partly due to the beautiful weather (we were in Interlaken for 2 days before, where the weather was depressing), but largely because of this gorgeous hotel. We were smitten by the connecting suite we were assigned to. The suite was absolutely stunning, offering unobstructed views of the Matterhorn-...

We booked a comfortable, stylish double-room and been served our breakfast in the beautiful garden being all by ourselves. After our daily trekking we enjoyed laying in the whirlpool and looking at the Matterhorn. Service was warm and welcoming, the location is very convenient. We are already looking forward to spending our next mountain trip there.

Summer, after long day hikes the hotel has a complete spa but it was the outside Jacuzzi that did it for us, with it's perfect view of the Matterhorn. We stayed in the little chalet, which was modern and cozy and just a short walk to the main hotel.

The fun starts when you´re picked up at the station by the electro car. Warm welcome at the hotel and very nice suite with a B&O System. We also rented the "Gaedde" which is like a cute little chalet by itself not far from the hotel. The wellness area is neat and there´s tea and coffee time with fresh warm...

Where is the best place to stay in Zermatt? Unsurprisingly, hundreds of TripAdvisor reviewers have declared that their first hotel experience in Zermatt was excellent wherever they stayed, and that they planned to return to the same hotel in the future. We would argue that Zermatt’s magic is so abundant that guests associate that magic with wherever they happen to...

We had a short 4 day holiday in Switzerland during July of 2013. As part of the trip we travelled via railway from Zurich to Zermatt and stayed at the Zurbriggen Wellness Hotel. The Zurbriggen's (and staff) were fantastic and we really felt valued as guests. The room was lovely and on the day that we arrived, offered a perfect...
