The hotel staff is excellent. They provide transportation from the train station at arrival and departure. Taxi is about 24 Swiss Franc. We had a nice king room with a private sauna. The wellness room has a nice sauna, steam room and an outdoor hot tub the seats six. It's a great botique hotel in a neighborhood setting literally at...

Beautiful hotel, quiet and incredible views! We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, clean, great views of the Matterhorn. Daily breakfast was great, typical continental but with lots of different choices of bread/juices and hot foods. The restaurant food was great, you have to book a fondue igloo...

Vice hotel, great breakfast with large choice! Very clean. Got a nice welcome drink and check in at the bar. Furnishing on the cheaper but modern end. Restaurant over prized for dinner. Location is quiet but a bit off. Shuttle service helps a lot!

The hotel is a five minute taxi ride from the heart of the town. Beautiful views of the Matterhorn and big rooms. The people that greeted us at the hotel were very nice and wanted to please us. The restaurant in the lobby is a must. Another thing I really liked about the hotel is the wifi is free and...

Stayed 4 nights at this boutique hotel with my family over Christmas period. We were allocated room number5 which was at the basement. The room was fairly new and nicely maintained. However, think it's quite dusty especially around the bed. The hotel can be accessible from town via a 20mins walk, can be nice if the weather is not too...

This review is years late! Only just got around to updating my reviews. I stayed in the Matthiol in January 2014. It is very modern, with fantastic staff. Yes, the hotel is slightly further out of town than other options but well worth it for the price saving and we quite enjoyed the 10 minute walk in the picturesque scenery.

My girlfriend and I had a couple of nights here in September and enjoyed it immensely, It is about 1.5km from the heart of the shopping and restaurants so roughly 15 minute stroll or taxi 25 euros if you are in a hurry or really tired. The Matterhorn Glacier Cable car is about 5 minutes closer than the rest of...

Wonderful boutique hotel. A bit off the main drag, but easily accessible via the many electronic taxis in Zermatt. Large rooms with great bathroom. The private sauna and steam room in the room were a treat. Nice breakkfast. Very friendly staff.

We stayed just for one night at the end of September, Lisa from the hotel went to the train station to pick us up on the hotel electric car (Remember that motor vehicles are not allowed in Zermatt). Super friendly service, with a welcome house-made cocktail at our arrival. We actually checked-in sitting at the bar enjoying our complimentary drink,...
