What a marvelous find, lovely old house. Checkin and out processes were seamless, and a transportation card provided. Room was clean and spacious, with a veranda looking out over Lake Geneva and the town. We had breakfast each day which was excellent, we ate dinner one night (arrival) which was also excellent. Staff were attentive to our needs. Location is...

What should be said up front is that this is an "Old World Hotel", so if you cannot put up with old furniture, creaking floors, mid 2oth century plumbing, no elevator and/or chain hotel snick-snack, then this is not for you. What the hotel does offer is a delightful and very helpful staff, great breakfast, privacy away from the touristic...

Ah beautiful Lake Geneva, right outside your window! I barely remember anything else except that amazing view of the lake and mountains... The hotel is out of town, that's for sure. It's walk-able, maybe a nice 30 minute walk? Nice and quiet location because of that. The historic old building is really something, it's taken care of very well and...

The nice experience started with the booking, in speedy direct email contact with the owner, although the hotel was closed during winter break; I could choose for my party of 6 three very nice rooms for an excellent price value ratio. All rooms are different and go for different prices with regard to size and view. I can especially recommend...

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Masson with Inghams, the first time being 4 years ago and nothing has changed. The rooms and decor are late Victorian, tha floor boards still creak, the breakfasts with home made jams and a variety of rolls and breads are still great, and the plumbing is still mid 20th....

Okay the reality is that one persons romantic shabby chic jewel is another persons just shabby. Freddie Mercury came to love the Montreux Riviera for its tranquillity and privacy and to escape hustle bustle. As one of the oldest hotels in Montreux this provides just that. A little bit of wifi and a flat screen TV but otherwise its all...

The positive is that they had a great breakfast. It had a wonderful assortment of delicious foods. The staff did a great job both in food quality and presentation. The staff were accommodating and did all that they could to make it a wonderful stay. Kudos to them! Now to the not so good.... The B&B was a couple of...

Was left feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed by this overpriced 3 star hotel on the edge of Montreux. The place is in serious need of an up-date/overhaul inside to bring its facilities up to 21st century standards with air conditioning, working fixtures and fittings, the bathroom in particular & very dirty! It felt very charmless and we would recommend others...

Two rooms with a balcony- beautiful views. Pretty grounds. No elevator. Woman who greeted us not too friendly. No A/C and it was 85-90 which made for noisy nights. Bathroom dirty two days in row. Old decor and creaky wood floors.

Paying almost 300 chf for a night I would have expected more - and why would a hotel like this charge per guest, instead of per room (we paid double than single guests staying in the same type of room)? The bathroom was not renovated since maybe the 60s, the same as the windows and even the mattress (!). Wifi...
