We booked this hotel during the first week of the music festival intending to attend some concerts but tickets were far too expensive! However hotel was excellent we stayed in room 12 which had balcony overlooking the lake. Food was first class there was a different set meal every evening & they were prepared to provide an alternative if you...

We are 63 and had a wonderful time.- also much younger families seemed just as at home. We stayed in room 11 which has its own balcony with spectacular views across the lake to the mountains beyond and the balcony doesnt get sun till the end of the day so it stays relatively cool. This is the perfect hotel for...

When we stayed here the service was so very nice - maybe the best inn-keepers I've seen-the food was excellent and the room were quaint and cozy - with lovely feather down beds- It was one of our more memorable nights- only wish we could have stayed longer- it was not a Luxury Hotel - but more like a boutique...

Picked this hotel for its close proximity to Chateau Chillon which was a pleasant 10-15 mins walk along the lakeside promenade. Hotel Masson may be situated in Veytaux but the main town of Montreux is just a short bus ride away. Moreover, you get a Free Bus Pass upon Check-In that entitles you to complimentary travel on all bus routes...

We're a couple with a 9 year-old daughter. We stayed in room 10, and were delighted that our daughter had the adjoining room 9 for her very own as part of the rate. Our 2nd floor balcony was covered in climbing vines, and even though it was close to 90F, the room stayed cool with the breeze off Lac Leman....

We stayed at Hotel Masson for just one night. The location was great -- out of the city center and an easy walk to Chateau du Chillon. We used the free bus pas to take the bus into town for dinner and then walked back along the lake front, with stunning views of the moon over the Alps. The hotel...

rather old fashioned, slightly faded elegance, beautiful views, very obliging staff. Perhaps a bit pricey but we thought it was well worth it.

The hotel is clean and nicely presented. A great location with a lovely walk along the foreshore to the Chataeu De Chillion. The room had a fantastic view. The beds however were rather uncomfortable and in Swiss style were separate. The only trouble was it was our 4th wedding anniversary! We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was okay,...

If you want to stay at a place that welcomes you from the movement you arrive until the movement of departure this is the place to stay. The entire staff supports your every need. Given that you are situated just on the edge of town, dinner at the hotel was a nice way to end the day. The walk along...
