What a great little hotel in an incredible little town. The hotel was clean and very nice people work there. The rooms could use another outlet but that is my only complaint. If you need to iron your clothes, you will need to go to the front desk where they will set you up in a room where you can...

Not a good stay for business purposes. Wifi was driving me crazy all night, disappearing every 15 min. Also you can only iron in a downstairs room where you must bring the iron they give you at reception only after you come down with your clothes and give them your room key in exchange. Like I was going to steal...

In general our wifi system (Swisscom) works very well and our guests are very happy with the free wifi and it’s speed. Unfortunately technical failures occur. Due to security, guests can only iron in a separate ironing room and not in their room. Of course the iron has to be picked up at the front office. With pleasure our housekeeping...

I stayed at the City Garden Hotel in Zug for 2 nights on a business trip. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend it for a business trip. What I liked: - Great location, walking distance to town center with shops restaurants etc, about 10mins walk to the lakeside - Very well-presented rooms and public...

Hello from the City Garden Hotel and thank you for taking your time to write a positive comment. I just have to make it clear: we have more than 160 channels and of course also many channels in different languages. At the «guide button» you find all international channels. As we have two hotels (like a resort) next to each...

Enjoyed the outstanding hospitality, the welcoming and friendly hospitality of the hotel and restaurant staff! The mix of creative menu and at any time caring makes your stay feel like - home away from home. Thanks to the chef Sandro and the attentive Tanja who kindly offered me the recipe of their tasty signature salads. Congratulations to a great team!

I have been to this hotel about 3 times due to business meetings, and for this I can say that it fits the bill as one of the best hotel for business travel, nothing more. There are no areas for children, nor I would consider it entertaining for them. No gym No pool I guess not many people that stay...

Stayed here for two nights recently for business. Nicely located a short walk from the train station and a few convenient shopping areas. I stayed in a suite that was very nice - spacious with a great large bathroom and bathtub. Breakfast in the morning was included on weekend days and a separate cost on weekdays. The breakfast is good...

This very modern and special hotel offers very comfortable and big rooms suitable for rest as well as for work. Rooms (with parquet floors) are quiet and well equipped as well as bathrooms but no iron and ironing board available. The only thing I would consider bizarre is that the bathroom has a big window to the room without blinds...

Hotel is conveniently located just a 5 min straight walk from the train station. Front desk is not staffed all the time but another hotel right next to it would support you if you need. The rooms are very adequate They have a modern decor an open design which I liked. Bed was comfortable, very warm in the cold of...

The rooms are modern (although the color was not my taste), clean and in good shape. There is only a glas window sperating living/bed room from the bathroom (no blinds, nothing). If you do not stay alone - you should be prepared that there is barely any privacy. The aircondition was a complete mess - although making some noise, the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The City Garden Hotel stands out because of its attractive design and the modern materials which are in total harmony with the green surroundings on the edge of the forest. A combination of contrasts that works impressively, both inside and out. The three-dimensional facade covered in chromium steel panels and the rhythmising corridors lend the City Garden Hotel a unique character. Inside, we have concentrated on warm materials such as wood but also on rough elements such as concrete. Colours are used subtly but deliberately. The City Garden Hotel, together with the City Apartments, is an ambitious showcase project and gem that will not just enhance the hotel landscape of Central Switzerland in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality. ... more   less
