Majuba Guest Lodge was the ideal choice for us as we were visiting family who live in Newcastle and needed to be close to where they lived. This motel type lodge has comfortable rooms, which were spacious and had everything we needed. Parking was also close and convenient right next to the room. Very conveniently placed next to a very...

We found the rooms to be adequate as we were visiting for business purposes. Internet not available in the rooms though. They had the heat on for us and we found a cosy warm room on our return from a days hard work. It was REALLY cold when we went. The Restaurant is excellent. Breakfast variety ample with a range...

But I've also stayed in worse.. Like when I was in the army. The lodge has a cheap motel feel about it. The floor tiles and the basin in the bathroom are cracked. The floor tiles in the room are chipped. The grouting in the shower is full of mildew. On the positive side, the room is spacious. The breakfast...

One could go for quite a walk inside the hotel grounds. There is an independently operated restaurant in the grounds. The hotel...

Nice, straight to the point and simple room. I was tired from driving and found an affordable and clean place to sleep. The service was welcoming and I was given a room close to the exit. The TV channels are okay as well.

I had an excellent stay at this place where you have everything under one roof; a place to sleep, a comfortable covered carport with security and lots more. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice accommodation within a walkable distance from the mall and restaurants.

I always stay at Majuba Lodge when I am in Newcastle for business. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a carport. The personnel are always friendly and professional. Security at night is of great comfort.

As a business hotel i find it convenient and well positioned The fact that you are staying in semi detatched bungalows adds to the freedom of people you tend to find in any other conventional hotel I enjoy the steakhouse restaurant on the premises, its easy to walk there and back
