Never before have I looked forward to leaving a hotel stay more. Considering the times we're in, I assumed that cleanliness and hygiene of such public establishment would be thorough and to a high standard. NOT HERE! Thank goodness we took dettol wipes with us to clean everything in the room before we touched it, it was gross. Where to begin? Questionable stains on the carpet, black mould on the walls and the wet room stank SO SO bad of mould, sweat and stale that I honestly couldn't use it. There were dead flies, a centipede and spiders in the room upon arrival. It honestly doesn't look like the place has been thoroughly cleaned in years. COVID clearly doesn't exist here, at breakfast we were less than arm length away from other guests, help yourself to juices, toast, coffee machine (not being wiped after use), oh and I had a long hair in my breakfast. BON APPETIT! We had a warm pint in the pub.Sam, the barman was a sweet heart, we can't fault him. It's SUCH a shame. The welcome was nice but can't they see how minging it is? It's shameful. Your paying for a view. Avoid at all costs.

A 2 star hotel charging 4 star prices and trading on its position, which is good. You would think Covid did not exist here. Menus and room booklet in hard cover, bottles of sauce on buffet table open jugs of juice and uncovered fruit. self service toast. in the restaurant there where sachets but they where left on the table from the previous people, instead of you being issued with what was required. people from outside walking through the restaurant to use the toilets without masks on. I had other issues, too numerous to list here with the cleanness and the rooms. last straw was being asked to hand over my credit card when i ask to put it in the machine myself the response was offensive. will never visit this establishment again

This meal was the worst meal I have ever had. My wife and I both had cod, chips and mushy peas. The meal was presented to us in a cardboard box with wooden knives and forks. Eating the food proved so difficult that we ended up eating it with our fingers, just like McDonald’s not a restaurant. The batter on the fish was too greasy that we left it. The chips were like crisps so we left that as well. The peas soaked into the paper so I was picking up and eating paper with the peas. We both left our meal. Drinks were in a plastic container which were so thin and flimsy that it needed two hands to take a drink. I complained to the waiter and he said that he would tell the chef at the end of his shift as he was too busy. I doubt very much if my grievance was passed on. There are many eating places in this small village, give this one a wide berth.

Visited here with my family to have food and watch the sunset. I have had drinks here before but never had food so this was a first. We had 2 curries, fish and chilli and we all found it very very average. Don’t think I would choose to eat here again. It’s such a shame as it’s in one of the nicest locations in Swansea and could have so much more potential. I feel as If people pay more the view than the actual food which is a shame.

Visited this evening for outdoor drinks then inside for food. When you take a picture of the QR code for track and trace it prompts you to check the menu online and then place your order at the bar.. which we did! We ordered creamy garlic mushrooms (see attached picture of the menu), when they come they were smothered in cheese. I asked the waitress to replace them which she kindly did, however, a woman who I can only think is either the owner or manager? Came storming over to my table to ask me what my problem was! I explained that I was waiting for new mushrooms but that it wasn’t a problem. She told me that they are advertised with cheese and I replied they were advertised with breadcrumbs but not a problem as they were being replaced. She walks off in a huff and then 5 minutes later storms back again to ask me for proof of the menu I had seen online! When I showed her on my phone she was really disappointed and told me this was an old menu (how is this my fault?). Also, this menu is practically identical to the menu they have up on the board in the bar so not sure how the menu I showed her was old? Anyway she repeated over and over that I should have checked the board and was so unpleasant and intimidating, I actually felt like I was going to cry due to embarrassment. Me and my partner had said on the way in that we would enquire about how much it was to stay overnight in the future however due to this lady’s awful customer service skills, I don’t think we will ever return. Also, the chips were all dry and crispy. We probably had 10 chips between us!
