Absolutely beautiful! My daughter (13) and I stayed in a 4 bed dorm for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly. The two volunteers, Jane and Tim felt like old friends by the time we left. They made every effort to ensure everyone was comfortable and felt 'at home'. Very clean, warm and cosy and great facilities, like a dry room for our wetsuits and a very well equipped kitchen. Lots of books and jigsaws to do in the evening. We have never stayed at a YHA before and now I am going to become a member. A brilliant way to travel and meet people as you go. It was all perfect!

You could not stay closer to the sea! At high tide the windows of the communal area and kitchen got spashed by the waves... very friendly staff and great facilities (including wet suits for hire). Fabulous.

We stayed in Port Eynon YHA for a weekend of walking and exploring. It’s such a unique space and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Great facilities for cooking, and the hostel was incredibly clean and safe. Would love to stay again!

I've stayed in hostels all over the world, and this place is right up there with the best. The location is unbelievable, literally ON the beach, which would make sense as its in a former Lifeboat station. The host Diane was lovely and welcoming, and the hostel itself is spotless. We got very lucky and had the room overlooking the beach, and after a long walk from Rhossili to hear the waves lapping outside our window all night was special. We stayed out of season so it was quiet, can imagine it gets very hectic in summer. But there is a large lounge area and lots of outdoor seating. Sadly was too cold to enjoy the latter. It's a charming 10min walk across the beach to the village, and I highly recommend having a meal and a pint in the old Ship Inn. Looking forward to returning already.
