I booked the Crew and Harpur for a team event. The venue was excellent, really lent itself to a great team bonding session and was very comfortable for the strategy event we were holding during the day. The accommodation was top notch, and the facilities were excellent. I would recommend getting a cask of ale installed by the local brewery....

Booking with peak venues couldn't have been easier, they were always easy to contact and responded very quickly to email queries. The venue was outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. We occupied all 15 rooms (inc cottages) and found them all to be comfortable. There was plenty of crockery, cups and cutlery to cater for everyone in the main pub...

We booked this venue for a 2 day business event. It is a fantastic quality venue with great facilities and very high standards of accommodation. The space is very flexible so perfect for business use. It has everything you need to accommodate around 30 delegates. Catering facilities are great and overall the main house and adjoining cottages were just fantastic....

I can only say great things about this venue. Your own pub, own beer garden, great rooms, great facilities, superb area, everything you need to entertain for a gathering. We stayed Fri-Monday for a joint 40th birthday party and somehow managed to organise the best weather for the weekend meaning we really made use of the outside space during the...

27 of us stayed here, using all the accommodation, the standard of all the rooms was excellent, the kitchen facilities were also of a very high standard. This is the second time we've all been away together to a 'big house' and I must say this was the best venue. It had everything. The 'pub' part is excellent for the...

Stayed here with clients, family and friends for a long weekend. Wonderful self catering house, made perfectly the fact that they have kept the original bar from when it was a pub. Lovely ensuite bathrooms. The company were so helpful, helping with our questions, recommending caterers (thank you Ruth from Peak District Fine Foods) and local attractions and especially for...

I organised a 25 man stag do and The Crewe and Harpur proved to be the perfect venue. I would jump at the chance to do it again for any kind of stag do, birthday celebration or family meet up in the future. 1) The quality of the accommodation Most places that accept large stag groups look pretty ropey, but...

We were a family party of 29 including 12 children plus a few dogs staying here over a weekend. It is an ideal place for such a gathering and I can't recommend it too highly. The bar and eating area are great, the rooms in the main building are good by any hotel standard and the cottages are lovely with...

We had a great time at the Crewe & Harpur Arms to bring in 2016. A large group of us filled the place and it was the perfect setting for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped, the pub was fantastic. Everything was clean. All in all, I couldn't recommend it enough for a big group of friends to get together.
