Booking the Crewe was so smooth. We went for a hen do and it was the perfect accommodation for a large group of different ages. The rooms were of a very high standard and the communal spaces were large, clean and comfortable. I will be booking again!!

We have just returned having rented all the accomodation for a weekend to celebrate my husbands 40th & son's 10th birthdays. All the accomodation was fantastic- the internal bedrooms being particularly plush- the bathrooms like something out of a Park Lane hotel. 30 + friends & family including a small number of children wh had plenty of room on camp...

Twenty four us spent last weekend at the Crewe & Harpur Arms celebrating a joint 40th birthday and I cannot fault it. It is the ultimate weekend party venue, and I think it exceeded everyone's expectations. It's in a beautiful location, in the heart of the village which is surrounded by fields, but believe me, when it snows - it...

We spent a week here over New Year and it was one of the best venues we have ever used. The large kitchen was a dream, the catering sized pans and dishes made life so much easier than usual and mega amounts of crockery made it easy to cope when the dishwashers were full. The pub dining area was very...

I along with 20 family & friends celebrated my 40th birthday at The Crewe & Harper last weekend. We had an amazing time & everyone really enjoyed the experience. We ordered 2 kegs of beer beforehand which were set up & ready to go on our arrival & the rest of the bar we stocked ourselves. We cooked for ourselves...

I see there are a couple of poor reviews for this place, especially from 2008. These are for when it was actually run as a pub. It is now 100% self catering and I think recent reviews reflect this. Perhaps Tripadvisor's pages need a "time out". A group of us stayed here for a bit of walking, some nice (self...

We attended a birthday party for 30 and managed to sit that many down for evening meals in the bar area for what was a very enjoyable self catering event. Beautiful location, very decent rooms, massive lounge, industrial size kitchen with two large fridges and two dish washers. The pub itself had about 8 rooms all with en suite plus...

I hired out the Crewe and Harpur and all of the cottages for the weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was a perfect venue for this with excellent rooms, all with en-suite and decorated to a luxury standard. The pub was the main area we used in the evenings, but there is also a beautiful large lounge room with...

15 of us went for weekend in August 2012. We only hired the pub,not the cottages but loved the whole concept of having your own pub. 8 double bedrooms were fine - clean, new bathrooms, some a little small but all were decent, Huge sitting room with loads of sofas and a tv and kitchen with plenty of stuff for...

We booked the Crewe and Harpur for a get together with friends who were travelling from all over so the Peak District was pretty central for us all. We seriously fell on our feet with this gorgeous place - so much fun feeling like we were at a pub but also it was all ours! There were 14 of us...
