Have stayed there for a night during business visit. The place itself is an average budget accommodation, but clean and just what ypu neeed with friendly reception. Was just a bit nervous of the long steep stairs but thats Holland :) What is superb is the location - 5 minutes of the main train station and 5 minutes of the...

This guesthouse is situated above a pub in an otherwise usually reasonably quiet residential street in the city centre of Groningen, just a 7 minutes walk from the main Railway station. Rooms vary in size, some have a private bathroom, others have not, but all are equipped with a microwave and an electric kettle. This is a traditional city centre...

Stayed here for 4 night, wouldn't go again. Every time I'd turn in my sleep I woke myself up because of the horrible noise the bed makes, and the beds aren't really comfortable either. The room got really hot and to be able to air it out we needed to keep the door open as well. The main light in...

The pension is very very basic, tired, and dirty looking. It is clean just looks unclean. Beds are very uncomfortable and have a distinct hospital like feel. The stairs leading up to the rooms are a nightmare. Location is absolutely central right behind the red light district. (50 m) The pub it is connected to is all right, food is...

The place is clean and pretty cheap for its location. My room with a shared hallway bathroom was better than expected as the shared bathroom was single occupancy and allowed for a great deal of privacy. The one negative side was that the place advertised accepting credit cards online but did not. Additionally my boyfriend and I were given a...

I spent one night in this pension with my friends. It is a pub with some rooms in the building. The rooms are quite crumbling, but they're clean and not so small. Some rooms have the bathroom and the shower inside, some are without facilities. So, if you're looking for a place to sleep one night or two, this place is...

I really would not recommend this place to elderly people because of many narrow and steep stairs (there is no lift!). Besides, it's very noisy during the weekends (at night you hear loud music from the pub downstairs). The showers cry out for a quick renovation. The breakfast is OK, but it is not served on Monday. This guesthouse has...

...and as such I rate it very highly. OK, you do indeed get what you pay for, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep then this is it. I have not found a cheaper place to sleep, where you get your own room, as opposed to sharing a dorm with between 8 to 16 other people....

We were looking for a budget hotel and we did not expect much. So the small and old room was no problem for us. But it turned out that the toilets were outside the rooms and in disgusting state. That is even for a budget hotel not ok. Furthermore we soon found out that it was almost impossible to sleep...
