Had a nice 2 day stay at the hotel in an good location by the river in north center of town. My room was in the back on the top floor so it was quiet and overlooked a garden. Room cozy with sloped ceilings, hardwood floors and smaller but new bathroom. Room and hotel looked recently renewed and historical-type decorations...

An example that quality hasn't to be expensive. A very clean hotel, rooms are large enough and you have a very tidy and clean bathroom. Very friendly and helpfull reception staff. Close to the Station and to the centre of town. From the station to the hotel is just a 5 minute walk Just too bad that you cant connect...

My parents came over to Maastricht for one weekend and we booked a superior room in the Hotel d'Orangerie. However, upon arrival we didn't get the room that we originally booked but were dumped in a dark trash can. Barely no light, uncomfortable beds and mould (!!) in the bathroom. The online pictures do not do the whole hotel justice...

Entering the hotel is like walking into the cluttered house an old aunt. It took a few minutes for me to to realise that I was stood in the bar area. It had a homely feel and a friendly receptionist. The bedroom belied the reception and bar areas. Refurbished room overlooking a side street, with Krups coffee machine ( a...

I had good wifi, and just enough room to get around the queen bed. Still a very nice looking old place and good value for the money. I must look like a 70 year old hippie, walking along the river will get you many offers for soft drugs. Tourist not allowed in the coffee shops.

I recently stayed here with some friends for one night. The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk from one of the city squares. Nearby secure parking is available at an extra cost and we took advantage of this. The staff were very friendly and we got a complimentary beer which was a nice touch, as were...

A warm welcome is given as soon as you walk in the door. The two twin rooms we booked were both clean and comfortable. Having drinks on the rear patio is a nice way of winding down before you take a short walk into town. The River faces you and the besutiful main square with lots of bars and restaurants...

The tourist buro in Maastricht did spend considerable time to find us one of the last hotel rooms available during a very hot weekend in August. They proposed this hotel. A good thing was that I did not have time to consult tripadvisors reviews. If I had red those I would not have accepted the proposal. It was one of...

I would like to preface this review by saying that my sister and mother, with whom I was travelling had stayed in one of the suites in this hotel last year and given the hotel an excellent recommendation and that along with the location convinced us to pay the inflated Andre Rieu's in town prices, to book two rooms to...

The location is really central. Hotel interior is cozy. Evening staff was welcoming and friendly. So why only two stars? Because most of the hotel smelled like s***t! In every room they placed scents to mask the smell but didn't help. That is one thing, second is that the manager acted like i was telling him something totally new, he...
