I have stayed here often, the location is perfect for walking into town for a meal or drink, the town is lovely..... The hotel is clean but basic, toilet and shower rooms are like converted storage rooms, quite noisy in the mornings with the church next door and council workers getting things ready for the day.

Modern-ordinary hotel if we could call it hotel, for me is more a B&B. The rooms were very small and it was noisy due to being in city center. I liked the breakfast, everything was fresh and a lot of things to choose. Perfect for 1-2 nights stay

This is a small hotel in an extremely good location. It is run by family and extremely friendly. The bar is particularly good with very nice pellet burning stoves that make you feel cosy. OK the rooms are very basic, but if you go for a walk around Venlo and have some nice food and then come back and sit...

Small double rooms are very small and expensive for what you get. 2c outside, window was open and heating was off so room was freezing. Manky sock had been put over smoke detector so previous occupier could have crafty fag. Walls wafer thin and corridors stank of fried fish. Best thing is location in centre of Venlo.

What shall I say ? Starting with stay in the rain untill somebody is coming the first impression is not a good one. Of course they mention on the site this incovenient but have to be with big letters not at the end with small ones . Could in the room and people were not very friendly . Toillete was...

A rather tired hotel, not trying too hard to improve I felt. We had a spacious room, though most on the floor plan seemed small. Beds comfy. Towels like sandpaper. Church bells will disturb light sleepers. Handy car park, but expensive for a small provincial town at €15/night. Breakfast exceptionally poor, though great coffee shop, Milk & Cookies opposite.

The puur is a basic hotel ... Probably just above hostel rate. I was on a business trip and it was great to be in the centre of Venlo. I am also just a bed and a shower sort of guy and again this was fine. If I was on holiday looking for comfort then do not choose the puur....

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. The rooms were clean and big enough (deluxe two persons room). There was only one (very soft) pillow. Our room was at the side of the church/street, it was quite noisy at night (a lot of bars/terrasses filled with noisy dutchmen). Breakfast was not bad, but not great either. Average. We won't...

We recently visited the Floriade staged only every ten years in Holland and preferred to do our own thing rather than join an organised tour. Our requirements were a reasonably priced hotel within easy walking distance of the railway station. The hotel met these requirements as well as being right on the edge of the attractive old town with its...

Like other visitors, this hotel was chosen as we wished to visit Floriade, and it was close to the train station as this was our mode of transport. Reception were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and tidy and adequate, but we did find that this hotel was really only an up market hostel. The TV in the...
