Hotel La Reine is a charming hotel in Eindhoven city centre and is centrally located on the attractive Wilhelmina Square. In the direct vicinity is the lively city centre and the Central Train Station is no more than a 10 minute stroll away and the Philips Stadium is just around the corner. This unique location offers tranquillity and comfort in the nearby rush and bustle of city life. Hotel La Reine is a small, intimate hotel. As a result we can offer you our personal attention. The Hotel has four different room types. All are modern and spacious and equipped with comfortable box-spring mattress beds, coffee and tea making facilities, rain showers and of course free Wi-Fi. If you're inclined to treat yourself to something special, our Superior rooms are even more spacious and feature a great Whirlpool for personal use. Breakast with a small but enticing buffet is served at our neighbours. Spa Agua is located nearby on the same square.
What we loved: * Location: Best possible location to explore the city * Staff: Every staff member we encountered was polite, professional, friendly and helpful * Decor: Hotel is cosy, has minimalist but modern design, looks very nice for a 3* venue * Cleanliness: Everything was spotless * Comfort: Soft comfy beds and lots of storage and surface space in the room * Price: Very reasonably priced for the quality and location, compared to other options What could be improved: * When we checked-in there was no soap in any of the dispensers and it only got replenished after several days once we asked for it directly. * Pillows are ridiculously thick, like sofa cushions. Got a neck cramp and headache from first night so opted to sleep on a rolled-up towel instead for the remainder of the stay. * Bathroom layout is not great - toilet is behind a glass door just a meter from the bed, so it doesn't leave much privacy or sound insulation. Shower floods the toilet area no matter how hard you try to avoid it, leaving a puddle right in front of the toilet. * Noise: Hotel is sound-insulated, but there was a lot of plumbing noise coming from the pipes in the bathroom at all hours - banging, hissing, screeching etc, like sleeping next to a loud fridge or boiler. The door between the lift and the floor, as well as other room doors make the room shake when they get shut, and we were unfortunate to have neighbours who were slamming doors relentlessly till 2am on our last night. * Some basic tea facilities in the room would be very useful. Summary: Great hotel at a reasonable price with friendly staff and nice amenities. If you're lucky with the room and neighbours, you'll really enjoy your stay here :)…

I arrived here on an early flight from Edinburgh, meaning I would be in Eindhoven late morning with all of my bags. I thought I may as well see if I could check in early so I went to the hotel at half 12 and they had no problem with me arriving a little earlier. This was a small but very appreciated gesture. Staff were very nice and room was also more than suitable enough for my stay. Not too far from the train station either, would recommend

First, I didn’t visit this hotel because my flights were canceled, my other bookings were canceled with a full refund and I don’t have any option to visit it. Second, many times I texted the hotel that I don’t have the option to visit it right now and they respond that they would not refund me and they offered me to plan another visit ONLY this year and probably I should pay again even more. The other hotel refunded my money, the museums also but this hotel doesn’t want to refund my money and now I received the email about my stay there which didn’t happen. All the other places change their policies because of the Pandemic and these people here want to earn money from the people misery. Do you know that other hotels in the Netherlands are transformed into CORONA HOTELS and help people in these difficult times? But you don’t want to refund people's money and offer a deal in which you will earn more money. In this situation, we should help each other!…

The hotel is ideally located, close to the city center and train station. The room was spacious, clean and warm. An A+ for the receptionists, both of them were really nice :). I would stay here again if I get to visit Eindhoven in the future.

I stayed there for a week due to work. Positive aspects: shower and location Negative aspects: no breakfast in the hotel, the carpet in the floor. Another aspect I think is bad is the fact that there is no toilet in the hotel reception

Due to health issues I couldn't make the trip. I asked for a refund and was told by the hotel that I had to contact booking.com for it. Booking.com later forwarded me an email where the hotel clearly said they wanted to keep my money and would refuse to refund. Liars and thieves! Despicable people.

Great location, excellent value for price and super friendly staff. Easy to get from/to airport and train station; the hotel is within a short walk distance from main shop streets. The only thing we missed was that there's no kettle+coffee/tea in the room (nothing major, but it would be also a good amenity).

We went to Eindhoven for a long weekend from Manchester. All the reception staff were so kind and helpful. We particularly liked to pub next door and loved the early doors and disco on Friday night. Can’t wait to go back.

The owner was really kind and the room condition was also good. But One bad thing was the breakfast was not good for the price. The location was good enough to go to center(5-7mins) and also go to central station.(10mins)
