Rooms clean, pretty and warm, couldn't fault this hotel at all, it was a good walk from behind palace in dam square, but a straight line, so was easy to find! It still has restaurants and shops around, tram stop at front, smoking allowed on balcony, i would stay again for sure

Six of us friends had a break between Christmas and New Year, booked in May 2016. From our initial booking the hotel staff were a delight to deal with. Onur in reception, sent me details and directions to the hotel from Schipol airport, via Central station and using tram 13. The train cost 4.10€ per person, the tram cost 2.90€...

Much thanks to those staffs who serve us hot drinking water as we prefer to drink hot water. Special thanks to Mr Tahin Alp and Ms Laila...

Very satisfied with my stay at the Alp Hotel the rooms were exactly as in the pictures on their website. The room was spacious with a private balcony & a spa tub it was more than enough room for 2. Nice friendly clean hotel, good continental breakfast, fresh towels every day. Reason not 5 for me room was very small, on 4th floor up very narrow steep stairs, so if not so fit ask for a room on lower floors. Looking at floor plans for each floor there are bigger rooms available. Rooms at front of building can be noisy...

Good location with tram right outside. Excellent service on arrival. Free hot drinks 24/7. Julie was an excellent hostess and also booked our excursions for us. I would not recommend it if you have trouble with stairs. We were on the 4th floor with no lift and very steep stairs. The shower in our room was terrible. I complained but...

I've stayed here a couple of times now and I can't fault it. The rooms are clean and well presented my favourite room is the one at the top with balcony and spa bath, just what you need after a long days walk!... Beds are comfy too. Although there's a lot of stairs to the top! Keeps you fit!... Breakfast...

We arrived straight from Schiphol Airport on the Route 197 Airport Bus, which dropped us of, only 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. We were welcomed warmly in this family run establishment, offered a complimentary drink and given a mini-briefing on Amsterdam and places to visit - a really nice touch! We had requested a room on a lower floor...

Arrived to a friendly welcome, immediately offered a drink. Shown to a seat and given information, including map of Amsterdam and places to visit, also a list of nearby recommended eating places, two of which we used and were good, Moeders being best for Dutch food experience. The room was lovely and clean, on back of building overlooking the garden...

We flew into Amsterdam and stayed here one night. Room was small, but was really all we needed. Staff was friendly, except for one woman who tried to charge us 5€ (cash) for our room key. We disputed it and she quickly dismissed it. Decent location if you want to be near Jordaan.

Thank Katie M
