Stayed here for 3 nights with my Husband and paid for a room with private toilet and shower which cost £150.

I would give this a 3.5 rating (but sadly you cannot). Even though we were on the top floor and had to navigate the creaky and very narrow stairs the room was just as i expected. The sheets & bathroom were clean and it was...More
We didn't even get to stay here as they had cancelled our booking without notifying us!! We did not know it was cancelled until we arrived at the "hotel". We booked another hotel around the corner

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
