I found this accommodation via AirBnB which I have never used before. The location right at the Flower Market can't be beat which makes it an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of the city, Dam Square.

Can't get better, Accommodation was clean and fully equipped, Perfect location, staff is outstanding friendly and helped us with everything! Thought of even tiny details such as umbrellas due do the unexpected Amsterdam rain and had a Nespresso machine in the room!
