Stayed here for my partner's 50th birthday and we were very satisfied by the experience. Comfortable room with a nice canal/city view, helpful and friendly staff and a quiet but convenient location. It's about a 15-20 min walk from Central Station so manageable with luggage. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. I would highly recommend the Monet Garden and would stay here I again.
Location is perfect, 15 minutes walk form the center. The room was very comfortable, such as the bed. The staff was also very nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast contains a wide selection of hot and cold dihes and drinks, including freshly squized arange juice.
We loved staying at the Monet Garden Hotel. Our rooms were spacious with lovely canal views and it consisted of all the needed amenities to make our stay comfortable. The location of the hotel is such that it is easy to explore Amsterdam by foot or by public transport.
A pretty, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and good facilities; great location and great room. Only 15 mins walk from Centraal station, with lots of restaurants nearby and places to visit like the Gassan Diamonds just behind the hotel. Staff v helpful and loved the glass of Prosecco on arrival.
Very central, but so are many others. Not much atmosphere - we went to the hotel next door for drinks. Breakfast was very poor and not at all worth the 19.50. My room was TINY but my colleague's was large, same price, so seems like a bit of pot luck. The thickest/highest pillows I've ever slept on - for me very uncomfortable and disappointing that they couldn't provide an alternative more normal height one. Staff very friendly.
The hotel is great, good facility, new rooms and good infrastructure. But the hotel is a little far from the main center of tourism, with not as much lines of Tram available. It’s a good location if you want a little more quiet. We did have a problem with the hotel. They say the hotel is a drug free location, where you cannot even bring drugs bought in the city. Off course smoking in the hotel is understandable and the right behavior, but say that you cannot even bring drugs is a little far fetch. Most people in Amsterdam are there to enjoy a little of their time off, and buy some in order to use it in a later time. Off course people want to save it in their room and use when outside of the hotel. So if you want to buy and use it later, this is not the hotel for you. Even though we manage to save in the room, they kept accusing us that we were using in the room (which is not true) without any prove. Just because you store some weed in the room doesn’t mean you are using it. I think the staff could be better and know how to approach situations like this in a better way. I would not stay again, doesn’t seem the right place for me.…
Spotless clean. Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. And will be returning too. We were celebrating our engagement and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
Excellent hotel, very clean and cosy room with a superb view of the canals. In walking distance form the city center, delicious breakfast, and -most important- a very helpful and friendly staff! Highly recommended!
Lovely hotel. Very clean and well furnished. Room was ideal and modern. Good quality breakfast, with lots of choice. Not right in the centre of the city so very quiet. Less than 10 minutes walk to Rembrandt Square. All parts of the city centre within easy reach. Would recommend.
This hotel was great! Clean, comfortable beds/pillows, and super friendly/helpful staff! Great location…close walk to everything and quiet. Our room was on the first floor and had a great view of the canal. I would definitely stay here again!
