I booked and paid in full more than 6 mos ago on Expedia for a trip in 06/17. As I was reviewing details, I clicked on the confirmation email and it advised that my refund is in process as the booking had been cancelled. Staff did not provide explanation to Expedia, and did not answer the phone when I called....

clean, very well situated with respect to museums and restaurants. Staff is courteous and efficient. This judgement is based on the room we occupied - we don't really know what the rest of the hotel is like.

Let's face it, if you're going for a city break, your hotel is the last place you're going to be spending time. After reading the reviews on here I was expecting something really grotty. We were pleasantly surprised. The room is very small, but if you're only sleeping in it we didnt mind. Beforehand we requested not to be too...

The hotel is in a great location and has really nice and friendly staff. The bulldog cafe is only 2 blocks up and there is lots of shops and restaurants around. The tram is right beside the hotel also. If you arrived before check in(3pm), staff are happy to take your bags and keep them safe, same when you check...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and were delighted with this hotel. We got the airport express bus which is €10 return, to Leidesplein which was only a 10 minute walk to the hotel (once we found our way since we were using a map). We arrived at our hotel much too early to check in (which...

Place was clean, staff helpful and friendly, free tea and coffees from the reception desk, however there was no lift in the building and getting to the 5th floor was quite an effort! We rented bikes at a good price and they were in good conditions. Unfortunately the place can be noisy at times (when people pass by the room...

Great location and a 10 second walk to the nearest tram stop. The hotel room is in good condition and looks nice. Only problem I found was that there was no lift and we stayed on the 4th floor but it's a very minimal problem.

Positives: Its cheap, central, clean, good staff, and a place to sleep! Negatives: Walls are like paper, gap under door so lots of noise from the hall when people passing, awake early due to this reason! Good spot to use as a base to explore the city, in a great area too. Good for a group of friends maybe but...

Great place to stay, easy walk to central Amsterdam and Museumplein. There is a pizza place next door, on the other side is a coffeeshop and up the street is a McDonalds open till 2:45am, bonus! Easy to get the tram from the hotel, Prinsengracht tram stop is very close to the hotel.
