The location was exceptional and the staff were super helpful and provided some great suggestions. The room was clean and tidy but there were some extremely steep stairs to climb first which was NOT a breeze when travelling with a 23kg suitcase. Was a bit...More
Our stay at Acostar was perfectly fine. To begin with there was an issue with a group in our party and it was not resolved easily. The petite, young woman who works on the reception was extremely helpful and apologetic. However, there was a young...More
Firstly let me say that this has the PERFECT location right by the centre. It is only small but that's what make it's so quaint and cozy.

The Netherlands > North Holland Province > Amsterdam > Canal Ring (Grachtengordel) / Rembrandtplein
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws
include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.

The train is definitely the cheapest, it costs about €5. We got a taxi once and it cost €90 for 6 people. Much better getting a train.
I’m not sure what time the trains stop but I’m sure you can google it :)
