Just back from a 2 night stay here. First impressions were not good - room was tiny, carpet filthy, walls were dirty with brown/red stains on them, stains on ceiling from room above leaking through, sockets broken with wires loose.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Central Park on our first ever visit to Amsterdam.
The hotel was absolutely fine. The room was small-ish, but when you're in Amsterdam, you only need a place to sleep. When not sleeping, you should...More
The location is a beautiful, non-touristic part of Amsterdam - which is great to explore. The centre can be a bit hectic and crazy. The hotel is a block or so from the nice Vondelpark and the centre can be reached through a walk through...More
Perfect for the family, clean and quite, in a very good neighborhood, close to grocery stores, tram, bus stops, and Vondelpark a nice place where can enjoy a 20 min. walk to the center. The staff were very nice, nobody bothering at your door to...More

Hello Inda K, we also came from Schiphol airport. We took the train (which is located in the airport. €5.30 for a single, ticket machines will be visible and they only accept card or coins) to central station and from there, you go outside and cross the street. the tram stop is right there. You want to take the #2 and stop at Amstelveenseweg. You can pay for the tram as you get in and they accept all modes payment. (€3.00 for a single) from there I suggest using a map or gps, but it is really close. Hope this was helpful!
