It was a good place to stay. Not overly expensive, about a 10 minute tram ride from the center of the city. Rooms were on the smaller side, no air conditioning, breakfast buffet average. For 12.50-15.00 Euros, could have a much nicer breakfast outside of the hotel.

Stayed here recently for a 3 night/4 day break. Absolutely loved the hotel the rooms were amazing very spacious (we had a ground floor room) clean bedding and towels provided we had room service daily. We only had the breakfast once at the hotel and it was OK to be honest it was just a continental breakfast but we all...

We have been to Amsterdam about four times and this hotel had the nicest and most accommodating staff we have ever seen. The location was one of the best. The tram is literally around the corner. It was nice having shopping and restaurants so close to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel for the last two nights of a two week bus tour. Hotel-wise, we had been in just about everything. This hotel was a welcome surprise. The staff was very friendly and the interior of the hotel was fresh and modern. Our room faced the street, I think it was the first one of our trip...

Very nice hotel: excellent italian food and wine in the Enoteka; very kind and efficient people at the reception. The hotel is quiet, but the street is a little bit noisy because the tram runs there from 6 am. And if you are walking, you can go to the Ryksmuseum or to the Dam in 35-45 min! Vey easy!

The day we got there at 10am, we weren't able to check. We were told our room wouldn't be ready till maybe 3pm but definitely 5pm. When you have been travelling all morning the first thing you want to do is freshen up. But our suitcases were put on hold for us which we were reluctant to do. We got...

Two years after our first visit to Amsterdam we stayed in the Hampshire Hotel - The Manor again as it would be easy to find out bearings again. The hotel is clean, comfy with spacious rooms and friendly/helpful front of house staff. It's ideally located on tram route 9, for a 6-7 minute tram ride into Rembrandt Square. Great place...

This hotel is nice and clean. It is a little outside the downtown area so it is a little less bustling which is nice, but there is still easy access to downtown through a 10 min. tram ride. The hotel staff are very professional and yet manage to be totally unaccommodating at the same time. me: "The A/C doesn't seem...

We liked: • Very courteous & helpful staff. Our special thanks to the lady who checked us in (I couldn’t get her name) and Menno (Concierge). The day we checked-in my wife lost her handbag in Zaanse Schans. It had her IDs & other valuables. We went to the police but they were not of much help as it was...

Nice old building, updated amenities in the rooms, clean and friendly staff. Ask for room in the back with patio to courtyard. Front rooms 1st floor facing street do not have operable windows. Room was a little warm for our preference even with heater turn all the way down.
