we stayed there mid september. I thought that for the price: over $200 per night, it was pure robbery! when we arrived at the hotel reception it was so shabby looking that the woman said, seeing our disappointed faces: "it's a 2 star hotel!" the room ended up being on the other side of the canal where we had to...

We stayed here at the start off October. Me, my partner & our 9month old daughter. Hotel was very clean and the staff where friendly. We got put on the top floor which was a bit off a struggle having to carry the baby up very narrow, steep flights of stairs. We had to leave the pram each day &...

Do not stay here if you have a suitcase or heavy bag you'll be lugging it up narrow stairs (up to 5 flights of stairs) instead I got chucked in the basement, kinda creepy, but better one down than 4 up. Bathroom was spacious and only had to share with one other person, but it was upstairs. Receptions at a...

Hotel was very clean, rooms up to date. And staff were friendly and willing to help! Great location too, tram stop right outside. Beautiful views from the room too overlooking the canal. Definitely would stay again!

Myself and my boyfriend went to Amsterdam for my birthday, being here before we knew our way about but wanting a hotel closer this time. So on booking this hotel which looked not bad we read some horrendous reviews, this really put us off. On our arrival the staff were very nice and helpful, even let us check in early....

If you want luxury and lots of room this isn't for you. If you want a perfect location, clean room and comfy bed at a great price then book here! We were in the annex over the road, on a Main Street so a little noisy but not too bad to keep us awake. Staff were helpful and booked us...

I booked a single room with a shared bathhroom. Didn't pay any deposit reserved a booking so I could pay in full when I turned up. Arrived shortly after 11 and was told that my room had been canceled. And they had emailed me to cancel whilst I was on the flight over. The young lady behind the desk. Was...

Clean room, big enough, great location (10 blocks from downtown Amsterdam) and very heplful staff. Would definitely stay there again. They rent bikes wich is THE way to go around Amsterdam and catch the sights. Stairs are a bit steep but tolerable. Still if you need a room with easier access I guess you can ask for one when making...

Great location. Hoping to get room facing the canal. Didn't happen. Got a small, small is is the word, building across the street. My room was in the basement of the building. Probably smallest room i had during my travels anywhere. With the $100+ a night hotel rooms nearby, the $73/night room with shared bathroom is a bargin i suppose....

After Reading horror stories of narrow stairs and no air-conditioning we prepared by leaving our luggage at the airport stored luggage. And caught an Uber to the front door. From there things got better and better. We arrived 2 hours early. The receptionist was so helpful, made us a cup of tea, took our luggage so that we can wonder...
