I have based my 4* on the standard based on price and expectation for a group of girls on a weekend away. The rooms were very basic but clean and comfortable, we just had a wet room to share which was more than adequate. If you struggle with stairs then this could be an issue as they are tiny and...

It was the worse place I ever stayed in my life!!! However location is great. But service is terrible the manager was extremely rude and did not have any manner! But the worse part was in the morning when I try to make a tea, it was urine in it and when I try to let them know in a...

Went for a weekend trip with a friend, location is okay but 20 minutes walk from anything of interest in Amsterdam, we both received many painful/very itchy bites, the window seal was non existent so the loud traffic/trams kept us up all night, the stairs to the room where near vertical which wasn't too much of a problem as we...

This hotel is a good location and price, but the rooms are average. If you want somewhere no-frills just to sleep for the night, I recommend it. It is a good location, my room overlooked the canal and it was pretty. It is a 20 minute walk to Centraal station and 10 minutes to the Rijksmuseum. The 4 tram stop...

Stayed here with a mate in twin rooms in basement, rooms very narrow and do need some updating due to floor boards not matching etc. I feel it's more hostel than hotel but in all honesty for a place to sleep it was clean and serves the purpose, staff friendly enough held luggage etc and as a room was ready...

This is the first time I have stayed here so first impressions really do count. Situated on the Prinsengracht and just a 5 minute walk from Rembrandtsplein I was pleasantly surprised with this little hotel. The attic rooms are what they are, small but very comfortable and unfortunately I only had a view across the rooftops of the adjoining properties,...

In a perfect location to walk to all the typical tourist sites such as Anne Frank house and Van Gogh museum. Helpful staff from the moment of arrival, also beautifully clean room/bathroom and comfy beds in an amazing city! No complaints at all :-) would highly recommend !

I originally stayed here in 1989. The stairs were the same (very steep!) but now the prices are the same (very steep!). This place has a fantastic location on the Prinsengracht - right on the Tram 4 link to/from Amsterdam Centraal station and about 12 minutes away (worth checking out the ticket options during your stay). I avoided the breakfast...

We really liked the location of this hotel although we stayed in what is called the Townhouse, across the canal from the check-in location. The room was bare-bones but adequate. We had 3 twin-sized beds and a bathroom which is what we requested. However, whenever we flushed the toilet, it came up in the shower. This was obviously disgusting and...

I stayed here for 3 nights August 2014 with 3 friends in 2x twin rooms. The rooms were unmodernised with ridiculously small, the bathrooms are poorly positioned and very small. The location of the hotel does not match the cost either. This should be a €30 a night hotel and not €120 as we paid (a night). The rooms were...
