Perfect hotel for our first visit to Amsterdam. Easy and reliable connections to central and elsewhere, shops nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly, made us feel really welcome. Paying for breakfast is well worth it, throughly enjoyed! Thanks to everybody at Met for a great experience :)

Just back from a two night stay in the Met Hotel. The hotel is new, modern and stylish hotel located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Amsterdam and an ideal base from which to explore the City. It is located approximately 8 minutes walk from the local tram and metro station (Lelylann) with direct links into central Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a really comfortable bed and fabulous shower. We had the buffet breakfast on both mornings, which included a mix of coffees/ teas, juices, cereals, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries. A limited warm option of eggs and bacon was also available. All staff were very friendly and attentive. All in all a lovely hotel, offering great value for money. A great option for anyone visiting Amsterdam and surrounding areas…

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was acceptable, nothing amazing or luxurious about the hotel. It was clean, quiet, and affordable which "met" our needs. Location is not super convenient to downtown tourist activities and it takes about 30min by tram to reach, with the last half mile being by foot. The area looks to be primarily local and in the process of gentrification but felt very safe. Airport access was super convenient and took less than 20min to reach from the hotel. Staff were very friendly, and I would recommend the hotel to budget travelers with the above caveats noted.

My wife and I travelled with a family member and we had two rooms side by side. The hotel is situated a little out of the centre but is easy to reach using public transport. The hotel itself has a real upmarket feel in the public areas and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The bedrooms are great with great mood lighting and facilities. The bed was really comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes and shoes. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Met Hotel.

Disappointed with my experience at MET hotel, and staff not able to resolve issues with my room & noise & window. 1/5 review from me. Noise from a faulty downpipe resulted in a banging/hollow noise throughout the night, despite no rain outside for over an hour! Front desk manager was argumentative, and was quick to dismiss my concerns "we cant control the weather" despite me pointing out the faults in the piping and the ridiculous noise level it made.

An excellent find out of the mayhem but well located. Really well appointed rooms, beautifully designed & thought through. We went windowless and it was a great choice. Comfy bed, good linen and nice touches everywhere. We thought it might have been a mistake to stay in this area but it was really easy to get in and out of the city on bus and metro. Staff were very nice too. Area isn’t the smartest but hey ho.

We loved our stay at the MET. Really nice hotel, lovely clean room and bathroom, great breakfast, very close to Metro and local supermarkets but most of all all the staff were outstanding! Can’t praise them enough. Always very helpful and friendly in a natural way. No corporate talk. Really impressed! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back.

Wonderful hotel , can’t fault our stay. From start to finish . Ok a little out of the way , but public transport is so easy , bus stop is about 10 mins away . Hotel is very chic( which is also my favourite group) the bed is like sleeping on a giant cloud. Breakfast something for everyone. Staff friendly and very helpful. Would I recommend YES Will I be going back YES Thank you for making our stay in your amazing city even better.
