We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Estherea. The rooms were comfortable and charming...not big, but so smartly planned that we didn't feel cramped. Little details made the hotel especially memorable; for example, there was complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in to-go cups all day, as well as chocolates. There are little nooks built in to the furniture...

Fabulous small hotel located in the best part of the city. We were upgraded to a street view from a courtyard view which was lovely as the courtyard does not have a good view. We had room 303 and the double glazing kept out the noise of any street activity below. Cafés and shops in street behind hotel and others...

Decided to stay at Estherea again, but this time for 3 nights. What a great hotel. There is great attention to detail. Staff is friendly, very helpful, always ready and our room was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the extensive variety breakfast and after a day of shopping and visiting the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh this hotel just feels like coming...

We recently stayed in this hotel while in Amsterdam and it was wonderful! The hotel was beautiful, very Dutch. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The location was central and we could walk anywhere around the city. The room was small, but so are most quaint European hotel rooms. The view from our room overlooked the canal! There were...

Hotel Estherea was the perfect place for our visit to Amsterdam. It is within easy walking distance to almost everything to see and do, with a tram stop also nearby. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, with friendly and helpful staff and modern amenities. Located right on Singel canal in a quiet section with busier areas within a block,...

The hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam. I booked this hotel through a special that included having a bottle of prosecco on the room. When we arrived the Front Desk clerk informed us that the bottle was not on the room yet but that we could order it by using the telephone on the room. He also informed...

A special treat stay for us (bit out of our usual class). But so fantastic. Fantastic location - just away from the busiest places, but close to walk to them, lovely canal view from the room. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and clearly wanted to help you. Decor absolutely stunning inside, in all the rooms. Lovely food and...

Truly enjoyed our stay! Our room was lovely! The details of the furniture and upholstery were aesthetically gorgeous! The staff, on the whole, was both professional and friendly. We stayed 3 in a room, and that worked well with the additional bed.

Such a quaint place to stay in Amsterdam!!! I would definitely stay here again!!! The rooms are all different but each is gorgeously decorated with beautiful fabrics, chandeliers, and gorgeous furnishings and pillows. It feels like a beautiful home rather than a hotel.

This hotel was perfectly located against a beautiful canal. Splurge for a canal view room, it's worth it. The lobby is charming, with an amazing fish tank, a cozy/trendy little bar and some nice sitting areas. There are free coffee drinks in the lobby and cookies in the afternoon. The staff was very professional and friendly and quite helpful. The...

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
