The hotel is in the 9 canals area well placed for all the sights. The bar and food area is a very relaxing space with mid 20th century furniture but all the comforts of the 21st century, free wifi, friendly staff, good drinks selection. Palate is more jewelled than minimalist. We had a room which was spacious, overlooking the canal...

Unique in the thoughtful ways The Hox makes your stay even better, like snacks and drinks to stock your bar fridge, that are reasonably priced. Lots of great freebies included too, like an hour of long distance calling, great wifi, a breakfast bag filled with granola, juice, yogurt, and fruit delivered to your room, and even water and milk in...

WOW what a great review! Thanks so much :-) So glad you felt so comfortable at the Hox, we aim for comfort and the hip bit is just bought along by all our guests. We can’t wait for our New York opening either! We’ll see you there and in the meantime do visit us again in London or Amsterdam.

I booked via a hotel booking site that I use for work, not directly with the hotel. Due to the booking site's wording I thought we were booking the top of the range rooms, we weren't. However - we arrived too early for check in, my husband was running the Amsterdam marathon and while he was running I was hoping...

Thanks so much for taking the time to review your stay. So glad that you enjoyed your stay, sorry for the confusion with the room sizes on your booking platform! Great to hear the staff made an impression and that you liked the grub at Lotti’s! Congrats to your hubby on the marathon! (Rather him than us.) We hope you’ll...

A great recently opened hotel with friendly, knowledgeable staff and slick management. Clearly the management team know how to open a hotel. Couldn't have done more to make our stay more comfortable. Hats off to the Hoxton Amsterdam - get your clogs on and go visit.

Stayed three nights in a great room - comfortable bed and terrific, unique furnishings. The room looked like a modern mid-century modern living room, yet had all the modern amenities. Linens and bath were great. The bar was lively at night and the desk staff was extremely helpful. Downsides: we stayed in a first floor room that was right on...

The Hoxton has the perfect setting on a quiet canal but within walking distance of all the major attractions Amsterdam has to offer. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in a large room overlooking the canal. We had a wonderful roll top bath to...

We booked a Cosy room at The Hoxton three days before we arrived in Amsterdam. Confirmation and communication exchange was speedy and efficient. And on our day of arrival, coming from a 12 hour flight, my husband and I were thrilled that our room was ready for check-in at 8 am. PROS • Great location • Good level of cleanliness...

The Hoxton is a beautiful new design hotel right in the centre of Amsterdam. We had a beautiful room overlooking the canals which are worth paying a bit extra for. The service is fantastic - the management of the hotel clearly invested in selecting and training people - everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. When we arrived, a lovely...

Very, very Hipster. Friendly staff. Nice room. Good standard of cleanliness. Well located (10 minute walk from central train station). The whole Hipster thing is a bit irritating (if you are not a full-on Hipster). At the reception I was told "At the Hoxton we like to do things a little differently and then there was a long explanation of...
