Nestled in the heart of Amsterdam, Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre is lauded for its prime location within easy reach of the city's attractions, though the nighttime environment may not suit everyone. The staff's courteous service receives commendations, although a few guests encountered lapses.
The establishment boasts spotless, comfortable accommodations with modern touches, yet issues with heating, noise, and Wi-Fi are flagged by some occupants. While appreciated, amenities like welcome chocolates and baggage storage are contrasted with criticisms of room warmth and beverage facilities, leading several guests to question the hotel's value for money.

Detailed Reviews
I booked this hotel for 6 days as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Upon arrival, the reception staff told me that they ungraded us to a quiet room on the newer floors which I thought was a great touch. The location of the hotel is perfect as its only a couple om minutes away from Dam Square and the Central Station. The staff were really charming and they would always greet you on you way in or out of the hotel. The room as I mentioned was on a renovated floor and was of good size. The only thing which was a bit annoying was the housekeeping which I thought was a bit slow as sometimes I would return to the hotel at 3pm and the rooms was still not cleaned. However, everything else was really good and I would definitely consider this hotel again when coming back to Amsterdam.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your positive review on Tripadvisor. We feel privileged that you chose to spend 6-days with us to celebrate your special occasion. Our hospitable team are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that each and every one of our guests have an exceptional experience with us. We work hard to offer our guest the best service to make their stay unforgettable and we are very pleased not disappointed you. Regarding the housekeeping, we are sorry that they weren't fast enough with cleaning the rooms. This is not our usual standard since we keep a tight schedule. I will share this with management to prevent this from happening in the future. Our team truly enjoyed hosting you, we look forward to your next visit. Best regards, Vivian Guest Relations

Having stayed at this hotel previously we didn’t hesitate in booking once again as it is well situated for Central Station. We arrived early on Sunday and the reception staff were helpful in storing our luggage prior to check in. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor and in the room there was a note informing us of hotel improvement work being carried out Monday to Friday ‘to minimise disruption’ ! The note failed to say that the work in question was on the floor above. We were woken up on Monday morning by banging and scraping at 07.30 and even worse on Tuesday at 06.45 !!!
On checking out we made our feelings known to a member of reception staff who apologised and informed us that work shouldn’t have commenced until 10 am !!!
Overall the is still a good hotel and staff are friendly and attentive. However the early morning disturbance was extremely poor and ruined what should have been a relaxing time.
We should have been clearly informed at check in as to the extent of the improvement work being carried out not relying on a note in the room. This was a major error in our opinion.
I would like to warn anyone who is staying at this hotel to be aware of this possible disruption and therefore be able to address the issue at check in.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
After looking at the reviews before I left I was getting extremely concerned. Once I arrived I was completely at ease.
We booked a wellness room which was absolutely lovely. Pictures attached. Granted the toilet was very visible when using it and could have done with a little more space but it didn’t bother us too much. You can use other toilets dotted around the hotel. Sauna and jacuzzi were lovely additions to use in the room. There is a hairdryer, robes, slippers and a fridge to store your drinks.
Our room was located on the wellness floor which was floor 1. There were no stairs to this floor only the use of the elevator. Sometime the hotel could get busy so waiting for the lift could take a while. Again not really a problem for us as we weren’t in any rush.
The staff were great, friendly and extremely helpful in times of need. Couldn’t do it enough to help.
Breakfast I felt was good for the value. Cold fruits, meats, cereals, pastries, breads, and hot food (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, beans and hash browns). Yes it was the same every day but when catering for that many people I thought there was more than enough choice. It tasted good also. Champers, juices or coffees also available. We didn’t use the room service which was run by Humphrey's restaurant (next door to the hotel)
Location of the hotel was perfect so central to everything.
No problems at all to report from the Inntel. Thanks for our stay.

This hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station, so no taxi or car is required to get here.
It is also located a 10-minute walk to the city center, so it is perfect for tourists.
It is a modern, clean hotel with friendly employees.
One suggestion I would have to make: to change the breakfast menu from one day to the next. And introduce fruit as well.
A room cost 810 euros with taxes and breakfast for 2 people-4 nights.

I stayed at the Inntel Hotel, Amsterdam Centre in late January 2023, while visiting Amsterdam for a short break (4 nights). I chose this hotel as I had previously stayed at their sister hotel in Eindhoven, and found it to be really good.
The hotel is in a brilliant location – the walk from Centraal Station is between 5 and 10 minutes, and you’re less than 5 minutes from Damrak and from Dam Square. You can walk to Anne Frank’s Huis in about 10 minutes, and for anything further afield you’ve got a tram stop only about 2 minutes from the hotel entrance. As you might expect of a city centre hotel, there’s a ton of bars, cafes and restaurants in a very short distance – pretty much something for every taste.
This is quite a big hotel (239 rooms). The room I had was a single, and I found it to be beautifully laid out. All the fittings are of high quality – nice comfortable bed, good quality en suite bathroom with nice shower, sink and toilet. In the room there’s plenty of storage (wardrobe with rail and coat hangers, several good sized shelves and a safe big enough for a laptop). The TV was a large Samsung with a good selection of channels. Under the TV is desk including a cupboard with a mini bar sized fridge – the hotel is fine with guests bringing food in. There’s a kettle and supply of tea / coffee. There’s also a vending machine for snacks and cold drinks.
Throughout the room there are plenty of electric sockets to charge all your devices, and wifi is available throughout the building.
As I said, my visit was in January, so I was glad of the heater, which kept the room comfortably warm. I believe this unit also acts as air con in warmer weather.
All in all I found Inntel to be a great place to spend my break in Amsterdam.

Stayed her for a 3 night short break with my elderly mother. Only 5 minutes from the station and a tram stop virtually outside the door, the hotel was very convenient. The room was very clean and a good size. We arrived at 11am and our room was ready for us at no extra cost. Reception staff very helpful and cheerful.
Breakfast was buffet style and was well presented and varied including eggs, bacon, sausage for those who might want a cooked ‘English’ type meal.
The hotel was quiet and we both had a good sleep in comfortable beds.
The area itself is not the nicest in Amsterdam but perfectly safe with many restaurants nearby and very close to the shops. I would say it was good value and efficiently run.
Would I stay again? Probably if was very short stay but personally I would rather be closer to the 9 Streets area as it is much quainter.

Let me just start by saying the location of the hotel was perfect. It was in the centre of shops, walking distance from most of the attractions and easily within range of public transport. Was a lovely area. The room however was freezing (even with their central heating), the lighting was almost non existent and they didn’t have a restaurant in the hotel (which I guess didn’t matter because all restaurants ended up having to close anyway due to coronavirus, but we couldn’t even order a meal to the room). The gym facilities were a joke it was literally a small room with a treadmill and bike, and the TV wasn’t working. Not a great stay at all to be honest. Enjoyed more at our other location

Dear embtp, Thank you for sharing your experience. We truly regret that the stay did not meet up to your personal expectations. It is indeed very comfortable when a room is not up to temperature. Unfortunately, I can't find a note in your booking whereas we can see that you contacted the reception. We would have love to get the chance to be of service and offer you a proper solution. We're sorry that in this difficult time for everyone, the restaurants were closed and you could not fully enjoy your stay in Amsterdam. Hopefully, we get the chance of welcoming you back soon, to ones again enjoy our central location. Kind regards, Vivian Guest Relations

We booked a room at Inntel Hotels celebrating both mine and my boyfriends birthdays, when we got to the hotel our room wasn’t quite ready so the lady at the front desk give us a time to return when it would be ready but they allowed us to keep our luggage in a room in the lobby.
We returned at said time and went up to our room, we booked the standard double room. It was okay, but not all that exciting. Very much basic room but of a good size! We decided to ask if we could upgrade our room and we wasn’t disappointed. We was moved into a LARGE suite, with the COMFIEST bed! It also had a hot tub and a sauna in the room, including free access to the gym and a Turkish steam bath!
The entire stay was perfect, staff ensured we had a great stay. The hotel is situated within walking distance of all major attractions, and staff are happy to help if you have any questions.
Great stay, definitely found our go to hotel in Amsterdam. Can’t wait to return in the future!

Hotel was in the perfect location ideal for exploring & right next to a tram stop & only a five min walk from central station.
The breakfast options was good but the hot selection wasn’t very hot & you had to wait forever to make toast as there was only a small four slice toaster, it’s a shame they didn’t have a bigger commercial toaster.
Rooms were a good size, clean & the bed was very comfortable. Basic tea & coffee facilities available in the room.
The staff were friendly & helpful
Enjoyed my stay. I would consider this hotel again if I was to return to Amsterdam.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! I arrived at 7am and went to drop my bag off before exploring a bit. The staff were so kind and I was able to check in a few hours early after exploring a bit, which I was so grateful for after being up for over 24 hours. I thought the breakfast options were great. The location is perfect. I walked a ton but the tram station right outside the hotel is very convenient too. The room was perfect and I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub after long days of walking. The hotel is in a busy area but I like the sounds of the city outside so this was a plus for me. Highly recommend!
