Stayed here recently for a long weekend. Fantastic location, close enough for walking into the old town or taking one of the many tram line that stop right next to the hotel. The city's main museums are just around the corner, and canal boat cruises start from directly across the road from the hotel's main entrance. The hotel is modern...

I stayed at the Park Hotel as a surprise for my partners birthday February 14th-17th. First impressions were great, the location was easy to get to, reception very smart, and the room was adequately sized, stylish and modern and the bedding was ridiculously comfortable. However a few small things let the hotel down which without these I would have rated...

On the first night we had an issue with the bed from a previous traveller, however, within 10 minutes of calling reception we were in a freshly made room and refunded the first night's cost. The hotel offered to investigate the issue and also had our washing dry cleaned free of charge. The hotel is ideally located and close to...

We had a lovely stay in the hotel, staff were really helpful and polite. Helped us book in for the tours we wanted to go on. Room was lovely, only a couple of small issues, the main being the intermittent air conditioning. Sometimes it worked, but most of the time it didn't. Was a little too warm in the evenings....

My better half and I stayed for 3 nights last weekend and found the hotel to be very comfortable, extremely well positioned to use as a base for discovering Amsterdam. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
